Mike Giles (WacoBlaze)
I played O/R and missed the final 8 after an epic game against Lou when we were both 3-1 with 9 points. He wound up winning 210-182 with his Bastila sitting at only 20 HP left and a senator at the back of the map. I had 7 gambits and Lou and I both felt like I'd win the whole game but a run of about 5 or 6 missed rolls in the late middle (3 or 4 on Bastila) made the difference in the end.
I played: Bastila, 2 x mouse, 2 x uggie, O/R Senator, Klatoonian Captain, Jedi Diplomat, Atton 'Jaq' Rand, Carth Onasi ORS, and a Jedi Battlemaster. 11 act. 199 points.
I really like this squad and went 4-1 at the Kokomo Regional with it finishing 5th, and finished 12th out of 36 at GenCon. I lost my next game to Tim like 105 to 50, he got a 2 point win and just missed the top 8. Mostly sick about losing the game to Lou (although Lou is a really nice guy and fine SWM player), feeling pretty sure I would have made it in with 12 points and so narrowly losing that game. Hope Lou plays well in champs! My highlight was beating Ian's (Jester) championship squad from last year although he really got hosed with very bad dice rolls.
