Thanks NADER for helping out on sunday niagara hobby also has space we could possibly use on sunday (I have some other locations that might work as well), I can help but I will only be able to be there from 1-4:30 due to having to work on sundays. seeing how you are willing to head something up on sunday I can do the leg work and find a space. and maybe some prizes as well. I am working hard to get prize support for the event Jak is helping with some awesome stuff. As soon as I can get some accurate numbers of who is coming I will try to see what kind of prizes I can come up with. I am amazed by what jamestown, tn is doing. I doubt I can pull off that kind of prize support but I hope to have some awesome Items for this tournament. should we do pizza or subs for that night?

NP PB... We'll have to see what the turnout for the weekend looks like, my main concern would be many of out-o-towners would look to travel home on Sunday.

Hey guys Nader has a point about travel. I am still working on the details of the location, but we might be able to go late into the evening on saturday. So do we do the 300pt first, take an hour or so break, and a 500pt until the early morning. Go home or the place where we are laying our heads for the evening and then leave when you wake up the next day. not sure if that is possible at the moment but just a thought I wanted to run pass you. would that work better than have another day? Again not for sure if it is possible but should be able to find out soon

The Sunday travel consideration is why I scheduled and will continue to hold FrostyCon over the Pres Day weekend in Feb. By that mindset it then affords us three days for SWM events starting Friday night. I'm good either way for late Sat or on Sun, we'll just sit tight for now to see how the roster shakes out in the coming weeks.

I think the better choice will be the one that allows the most people to participate.

wow!!! awesome 1 idea- maybe the 1st place trophie should be larger than 2nd & 3rd. ie. 6x6 squares for 1st, 5x5 for 2nd, 4x4 for 3rd, 4x4 for any/all the rest

Yea I already have some 5.5 x 5.5 boards cut for a project I was going to do but didnt happen, my thought was to have the base the same but make up for it in the details for each trophy, we will see as it progresses, right now that is alot of molding and we will see what happens the closer we get to dec 8th, soon I will repost the pics with all the detail on it and you can tell me what you think

Those look great.
I'm stoked for some serious 500 point action. I figure with the caliber of players we are going to have (half of Gencon top 8!) we should have an interesting tourney.

Yea this should be awesome! I have been reading up on the BHC pieces and am very curious if they will be showing up in a 300pt game and with what.

Actually, the BHC pieces won't be legal until January, when Set 5 releases. People can bring the BHC pieces to this tourney, but they can't actually use them.

Seriously, go read my most recent post on the Satele thread (p.8) and you'll see that we're entirely on the same wavelength.

Darn, my teleportation device is not yet complete so I won't be able to make this. I've been thinking too hard about my space laser and earthquake machine lately. Anyway have an awesome tourney guys!
