It seems that funding this time around is going very slow, what do you think this say about the future of the game and v-sets? BTW I will be donating the first of next month when I get paid if that is ok.

BTW I will be donating the first of next month when I get paid if that is ok. From what I can gather from the Gamers thread, it should be up around 2000 now. There may be fewer people donating, but it's also following the holidays. That delayed my donation a bit.

Urbanjedi just posted on Gamers saying that donations have picked up a lot and we are now at over $2500, so we should easily be able to meet the goal. The winter donation drive is often like this, since people spend a lot of money around the holidays so it takes until they get another paycheck or two into the new year to donate.

From what I gather, a lot of the donations are come towards the end.

Just remember, in the States, tax refunds may be delayed. Some of that spare cash comes from those. Just a theory.

Seasonal spending habits aside, I'd be curious how much each V-Set has raised, and also how many unique contributors there have been. Has there been a visible trends, in either direction?

Well, I think funding has been by less and less members with each subsequent Vset, so long term this maybe a problem for the future of the vsets. I think we should be OK for this set though if +£2500 has been raised so far.
I put my name forward as Pointman for this set for the UK, its been up two weeks so far and as of yet not 1 UK member has gotten back to me. Still time yet I know, but for set 3 which i was also pointman for the UK all but 1 member in the UK, who were having sets had gotten in touch to say they were having a sets by this time.

I don't have time at the moment, but I can look and give a fairly accurate number of donors and the trend. To me it feels that we are about the same number of unique donors, but I will do some research and let you know.

Good to know, if nothing else it will at least end any speculation. Also it will be interesting to see the numbers from a personal point of view. Would it be possible to brake the numbers down in regions? Would be nice to know how many UK members had set 1 and how many will be having this set, though non have asked me to put in a request for one yet as pointman. Edit Spoke to soon, now have 1 request.

We need demographics, people. How else can we market to infants and the elderly if we don't know how many are actively donating? -my inner marketing consultant
