Very satisfied. There are some characters that I wish didn't happen or had been tweaked given the NPE that a few create but that is overshadowed massively by the good. And thanks to both kez and TheHutts for the great posts on this topic recently. Very eloquently stated and well thought out. And most importantly civil, something I didn't do the best at.

TheHutts wrote:Oh man, I just clicked "Very Unsatisfied" by mistake. I meant "Very Satisfied". They've done a great job of carrying on the game from where Wizards left it, broadening it, and making it technicolor. The few missteps are nothing compared to the number of triumphs. From the last set, Cad Bane BH, Kelborn, and Caedus are all great pieces that play quite differently than anything we've seen previously. Quote:An example is Poggle. To me shows an aggressive slant towards living seps but they ran too fast. I know it was play tested, but the urge to bring living seps into the fold was ahead of execution. I think they said once, that they wanted something to keep the fragile Sep pieces from getting stampeded by Lancers and Yobuck. But they didn't anticipate Poggle Bombs being used en masse and aggressively as they have been. True. I get the reason why drones were turned to mines. But 10 drone at 2 pts per are more useful that 6 drones at 3 per. The math made them more effective than the purpose. Same with mouse droids. If mice were kept at 3, the 6 mouse drop would've been far less useful. My perspective anyway. This game is as much tactics as it is max/min the numbers.

Rapport on 3 point pieces wasn't a good idea, but I also respect that they shouldn't go back and change stuff now. At least Momaw Nadon helps keep it under control.

I hope this stands together with much more polite discourse. The problem with discourse is once a personal insult is thrown, it becomes an argument. Once an argument starts, the original point is lost.

If you feel that way, I understand. But I won't even begin to mention all the times that those of us who were on the other side were personally attacked. Again, I'm not trying to start anything, I just feel that it is unfair to let one side have the say in things, and then if the other side reponds, then suddenly it becomes a brawl all over again. No need for that. We all love the game equally; we just have different ideas on how it should proceed.

50/50 some pieces are cool, but there has been too many new SA & CE with each set.IMHO also 40 piece sets would eliminate 20 silly pieces per set, and make it easier on the designers and play testers

I think that the designs are great, continuing to improve with time, the quality is fantastic, and what it has done for a discontinued game- kept it alive, given the players more use out of existing figure's we would have otherwise "wasted" money on... they're really amazing. This. Very, very satisfied.

So far this thread has been civil, last thread some one dropped a major F-Bomb and began throwing insults. ( I don't care but it is against terms and conditions)

V-sets are the best thing to happen to minis ever. For every piece that's too overpowered, there are at least 50 that add to the game in a positive way. Can anybody say that about Wizards?

I applaud any and all efforts that keep the game interesting and alive. Being a card maker myself the fact that groups of people can come together and make worthwhile product at all is always amazing and worthy of applause and recognition. Nothings ever perfect, but darn good is close enough. I believe you should always be a part of the solution not part of the problem.
Peace.

I think this topic needs a break. Some emotions are still high.
