I'm not on Vassal and Laura and I have a sizable lake that gets in our way so someone else will have to pilot my squad.
However my son and I might have a chance to face them off against one another just for fun.
As for setup I think I would keep Ferus in the middle flanked by Mace and Jarael. I might put Obi next to Jarael figuring if someone wants to concentrate on making her go away first that he can have time to build up more force.

I know it's too late, but here was my idea (just for fun) --T2T-- 76 Marka Ragnos 62 Darth Revan, Sith Lord 36 Lord Kaan 15 Ponda Baba, Galactic Criminal 11 Watto (200pts. 5 activations) Win init, go with Marka, beat on something, then use his CE and blow up Kaan. Watto screws with enemy's saves, and Ponda makes sure Watto survives the bomb. If facing Disruptive, just blow up Kaan and see what happens.

I've never played on Vassal and my work schedule might make things rough, but we can try and work something out, otherwise someone else is more than welcome to take the reigns!

I would set up Luke in the middle, flanked with Felucians, then Kyle on one end and Leia on the other. I do have Vassal, although I've never done very much with it.

I'm not able to play for the next two days, and even then I'm not entirely sure I could play then. As for strategy, Marka goes first in the middle, uses sith sorcery twice, attacks, and then lets Bastila activate. She also uses sith sorcery. Exar can activate dark aura before marka goes if you go 2nd in a round. Dengar just shoots people, preferably those without lightsaber sidebar. Bandon either uses sith rage for 60 damage or grips for 20 auto damage against parry and the like.

Round 1: Init to Vong due to Master Tactician.
Shimrra attacks Ragnos. Needs 6 to hit but only hits 1 of 3. 40dmg to Ragnos. No Sith Sorcery due to Vong. Ragnos Assault/Rages (haunted by Exar) on Shimrra. Hits 2 of 4 attacks, dealing 70 damage. Bastila attacks Shimrra. Needs 7 to hit but only hits 1 of 3. Failed crab armor. 30dmg to Shimrra. Onimi Puppet Masters Shimrra... 15 on the save. Just enough to be safe. Shimrra attacks Ragnos. Hits 2 of 3 for 80dmg to Ragnos. Nei Rin attacks Dengar but misses. Dengar's Final Shot on Shimrra hits. With Sith Rage, Bandon hits Nei Rin twice, killing Nei. Nen Yim rolls high and hits Ragnos for 20dmg. Nom hits Bandon for 20. Exar spins
Round 2: Sith win init. Ragnos Assault/Rages on Nen Yim and kills him easily. Onimi misses both shots on Bastila Nom hits Bandon for 20. Bastila kills Onimi easily, including overkill with a crit. Bandon hits 1 of 2 for 30 on Nom. That sets Dengar up for his Final Shot, which he hits.
Sith with a clean win. No lost characters, but Ragnos was holding on with just 10hp remaining. Even without Sith Sorcery, they won easily. Looks like too much tech in the Vong squad and not enough beef.

SignerJ wrote:69 Darth Sidious, Supreme Chancellor 57 Darth Maul, Sith Infiltrator 43 Asajj Ventress, Separatist Assassin 24 Zayne Carrick 5 Salacious Crumb General squad notes:Squad SummarySidious provides FR1 to Maul and Asajj, which boosts them considerably. Sidious and Ventress both have Cleave, which can be huge in this kind of play format. Sidious hits either for 120 Damage with attacks or 50 and Activation with Lightning 4. Maul can hit for 160 plus Riposte thanks to attacks, while Ventress hits for 120. Zayne's purpose is to try as hard as he can to get Cortosis Gauntlet off against the opponent's main attacker, while Salacious tries to distract enemy commanders. Set-upThis squad has an advantage in that it is very flexible in set up, depending on how the opponent chooses to set up their squad. Salacious should be placed next to either (1. As many commanders as possible, or (2. The opponent's most dangerous commander. Distraction for the first couple of activations could very well be killer. Zayne needs to be put next to the opponent's main beat, so that he has at least a decent chance of getting off Cortosis Gauntlet and disabling that enemy character. Sidious' and Ventress' placements don't matter a whole lot, though they should be placed where they can maximize usage of their Cleave. Next to low-HP pieces is a good idea. Maul is best against a low-Defense, high-HP enemy. If none is available, put him where you think he would be best. Or, even, just place him wherever is left. PlayThis squad is very simple to play. Lightsaber Block with Zayne against dangerous enemies as much as you can, in the hope of giving them -20 Damage. Salacious doesn't do anything, but attacking with him wouldn't hurt. It is generally a good idea to have Ventress and Sidious target low-HP characters first, so they get off their extra attack(s) from Cleave, though don't go out of your way to achieve this. Sidious can also activate the opponent's stronger pieces with Lightning 4. Again, Maul is there just for Damage, and Teras Kasi helps a lot with survivability. In the event that the opponent has a disruptive or distraction piece that is affecting Sidious, target that one first. It needs to be destroyed, utterly, and completely. - Please note that I will not be able to play my squad. I'll provide some suggestions here, however, on how to play it against my first opponent, adam0nd: First Match-up notes:Obviously Double Sorcery is extremely dangerous. I'm expecting that he'll use Revan to win Init., then use Marka and Bastila to activate as much of my squad as he can. There aren't any disruptive pieces to worry about, but Revan can be a major issue. Place Salacious Crumb adjacent to Ragnos (and Revan, if possible), so that he can't pull a double-Sorcery. If he DOES NOT activate Bastila first:(This includes if you go first.) Try to take out Bastila with Sidious as soon as possible, so that she can't use Sorcery, and so that Sidious gets off his Cleave. She NEEDS to be killed in the first activation. Use Force Points to re-roll, if you have to. Once Bastila is gone, concentrate all attacks on Revan -- both from Maul and Ventress. Eliminating adam0nd's initiative control is a major goal, and that Swap can be very dangerous. If he DOES activate Bastila first:Take out Revan and go from there. If that Initiative control isn't eliminated, the Double Sorcery next round will be almost unstoppable. If Revan isn't killed in the first round, and Salacious is still alive, refer back to the starting conditions. If Salacious is dead and all of his squad is alive, then the game is probably pretty much over -- but still try to win, anyway.

Round 1: Separatists win init 2-1
4-LOM goes straight after Lowbacca with 4 30dmg shots at +22atk and hits all 4. With no defense against adjacent shooters, Lowbacca goes down. With 120 dmg max, Luke attacks IG-88 instead of Grievous. Needs 3s to hit... and needs a reroll to make all 4 hit. No more IG-88. Kyp goes after HK-47, needing 7s to hit. Hits all 4. 80dmg. HK-47 returns fire for 60dmg. Whorm misses Evazan. Evazan's homicidal surgery gets Grievous for 30dmg. Felucian's Blast fails on Whorm. Grievous attacks Luke, perhaps against his better judgment. Hits the first. 30dmg DSSM... success. Luke hits back for 50. LSD... success. Negate the 30dmg. Grievous' twin... hits. 30dmg. DSSM... fails. Reroll... fails. Grievous' Double... hits. 30dmg. DSSM... fails. Grievous' 2nd Twin... misses. Net: 60dmg to Luke. 50 to Grievous.
Round 2: Separatists win init 14-13
4-LOM with 4 can't miss shots on Luke. Hits 1... defended. Hits 2... defense fails. Hits 3. Hits 4. 90 dmg kills Luke. Kyp takes out HK-47 and then misses both swings at 4-LOM. Evazan puts 30dmg on Grievous. Grievous kills Evazan. Whorm kills the Felucian, making 3 on 1 for the 3rd round.
Round 3: Separatists win init again.
4-LOM still gets 4 shots at +22 attack/30dmg. Only needs 2 to hit. First 2 hit to win the game.
MVP to 4-LOM. 120dmg, can't miss attack rating of +22 regardless of whether activated or not.

Oh well, I figured he might do ok with Force Immunity and acting twice but I suppose that doesn't matter much against Angry Assaulting Sith Lords.

Okay. If someone (other than SignerJ / adamb0nd) wants to run their match and give us a report, feel free. Otherwise, I'll hopefully get to it tomorrow.
