AndyHatton wrote:Saber1 I really really like Engine of Destruction. What do you think for me? I've been pondering that very thing this morning. I like the JP version because its fun and flavorful. However, the Protector's ability to bring Protectors into the NR is tantalizing. Let me take another look.

If I have not provided feedback on your entry, please let me know soon. I think I've commented on each of them, save the Ewok Hunter. What needs be said there, anyway? It is clearly the best piece every crafted by a human.

Slight snafu on mine right now trying to get it fixed, but if that doesn't work I'll repost the link to a new version.
EDIT: the above link should now lead to the remade version, it is the same as before, sorry about that!

saber1's Engine of Destruction 9 A solid piece but nothing too new accept for stable platform which is a great idea.
donnyride's Hunter 9.25 A cool version that really represents Boba when on the hunt.
Lord Ball's Notorious Bounty Hunter 9 I like notoriety, everything else is pretty similar to other pieces.
General Grievous' Double Agent 9.25 Similar to my version, I like spy and cool use of Saber Dart.
Deathwielded's Mandalorian of Legend 9 Intimidation is cool, similar to Lord Ball's noteriety, another piece with single shot blaster is interesting.
AndyHatton's Mandalorian Protector 9.25 Good affinity and CE, I like Crushgaunts and the Camraderie for Jaina.
CorranHornsux123's Ewok Hunter 9.25 A hilarious piece from Robot Chicken, although I don't know if it's considered canonical.
Lots of good entries, my vote goes to donnyrides.

Gungan Batman Clone wrote:saber1's Engine of Destruction 9 A solid piece but nothing too new accept for stable platform which is a great idea. This has me scratching my head. While it is true that I opted to go with off-the-shelf abilities, three of those abilities are new to the character. Moreover, the interaction of Deadly, Flurry and Stable Platform creates not only a unique play style for the character, the play style is also unique to the game. No other official piece plays like this Fett. The bigger head scratcher is rating this piece lower than an obviously noncanon entry. This is not an attack, I'm just curious to read your elaborated thoughts should you choose to share them.

Still very solidly built, Twin is a nice replacement for double as putting him with a CE with Extra would expand his attacks. From personal experience, I haven't found Deadly and Flurry Attack come into play that much, but that's just me. As for the noncanon version I didn't think they were allowed. However it was a rather accurate representation. It may have been a poor choice on my part, but I don't think I could change it now that it's entered.

@saber1; basically, GBC's rating of CHS123's piece is a 'ceremonial' rating, or whatever. The entry is non-cannon, so it wouldn't count for the contest, but it's fine to go ahead and rate it for the heck of it, based on how you like it, it just won't count

Don't get me wrong, I do LOVE your Boba, CHS, it just isn't a legal CCC entry

This week produced a lot of great pieces. not a single weak piece. saber1's Engine of Destruction 9.25 Great piece, very playable donnyride's Hunter - This one is mine. Lord Ball's Notorious Bounty Hunter 9.25 This is another great piece. Notoriety is really nice. General Grievous' Double Agent 9 I like the low end price value with this piece. I'm not wild about Spy though. This ability is only found on an Epic piece. When used correctly, it would be a death sentence for any key enemy figure. Deathwielded's Legendary bounty hunter 9.25 Intimidation is Great. I'm happy you added single-fire-blaster. Pilot opens a lot of doors for current and future CEs and SAs Gungan Batman Clone's Defender of Mandalore 9 I feel sorry for the poor fool playing vong against this piece AndyHatton's Mandalorian Protector 9.25 Looks like nobody had a chance to leave feedback on this piece or all the feedback got deleted. I normally don't like affinity, camaraderie or synergy too much because it limits how a piece can be played, but I like this piece. The gives aren't really crazy and I'm very happy you made him have a CE to break up what Wedge and Leia could give him with evade rolled twice with armor. I can only choose 1 for my vote so I think I will go with Deathwielded's

@donny
Spy is also found on an even lower costed rebel agent, so figured it was ok to toss on Boba for more points and being unique haha. And that is what I was going for. An untouchable assassin who gets one good shot

saber1, Engine of Destruction 9 He should probably cost around 70 or so - considering he's a Mobile ranged Twin attacker with Deadly and Flurry and gets free missiles thanks to Stable Platform, hard to really compare him to Mace (who is also undercosted).
donnyrides, Hunter 9 Override is definitely a key reason to play this version over BF, Merc, and it makes a very compelling argument!
General Grievous, Double Agent 9 locking him down to Mandos was a very good move since Recon + Spy would be crazy good in high reserves squads. Not sure I care for Vong Hunter in the CE feels too oriented towards Vong Hate.
Gungan Batman Clone, Defender of Mandalore 8 Not a Fan of him having 3 abilities that boost attack (I initially had this problem with my own piece and wasn't even a fan of it then). the CE also feels a bit much handing out 4 seperate abilities.
Deathwielded, Legendary Bounty Hunter 8.75 Opening him up to the array of Pilot CEs might be a big much for the point cost and him having Triple + GMA. SSB and not having any Damage boosting abilities is a plus so it may be unwarranted concern.
AndyHatton, Mandalorian Protector 8.5 8.75
I think Crushguants is a bit overpowered here - he has Twin so he can deal 80-100 unpreventable damage! Clauses needed at least in the glossary definition for Crushguants to clarify interactivity of SAs (or rather lack of interactivity).
Difficult to choose, but I'll cast my vote for donnyrides
