I bring you greetings from Tatooine my faithful commanders. I am greatful to report that we have successfully recruited Blizz and his Jawa friends. Kanan Jarrus led a joint squad of Wookiee's and some of his Rebel Companions to Tatooine to recruit the Jawas. They faced off against none other than General Grevious himself riding a Tsmeu 6 Wheelbike leading a Lancer, a Series II Destroyer, one of his personal bodyguards and some smaller units. The Mandalorian Rebel Sabine Wren was crucial in setting up a series of explosions the warped the integrity of the Wheelbike making it easier to destroy. She then lobbed a grenade into the nest where the bike and the bodyguard were hiding. The bike managed to evade, but his bodyguard did not dropping quickly down to less efficiency. A wookiee freedom fighter valiantly charged into the heat of battle and finished off the weakened bodyguard. Seeing an opening Chewbacca and Kanan charged the bike and destroyed it. From there the rest of the rebels performed cleanup eventually forcing the heavily shielded Destroyer Droid to explode.

We have done well so far friends, I am pleased to be your leader and equally excited to have the aid of the Jawa's and their Ion Gun technology.

Viva La Resistance!

Final Score: 220-51

Former Supreme commander, and veteran of both previous galactic wars, has brought the first victory to
Palpatine, and our droid minions!
-CIS vs Rebels #1--
23 Commando Droid Captain
17 Geonosian Soldier with Sonic Cannon
15 A4-Series Lab Droid
15 Battle Droid Sergeant
30 BX Commando Droid Spotter x2
13 BX Commando Droid Infiltrator
42 BX Commando Droid Sniper x3
12 Gha Nachkt
9 Geonosian Soldier
8 Battle Droid Officer
7 R7 Astromech Droid
5 Rocket Battle Droid
3 Mouse Droid

sonic cannon was able to gain gambit every round.
Rebels had 2 overrides, which slowed the droids progress.keeping 2 snipers and a spotter, out of action for most of the battle
the sniper's +22 first attack@ 50-60 and second +18 for 30-40, killed at least 1 rebel every time it shot
by the end of the 3rd round rebels retreated their leaders.
with 2 over rides vs my 1 satchel charge (at that point), made it impossible for me to execute Leia, Bren, or artoo & threepio.
Gen.Juice Man feared the snipers & spotters. His nightmare was realized.
Leia retreated and the battle was won.

no uniques lost

[Public transmission broadcasted to the citizens of the confederacy]

To all who are under the protection of our confederacy.

The Rodians have made their decision. And they have chosen poorly. On Saturday Oct. 31, at 22 hundred hours, a squad of Separatist peacekeeping droids, with the aid of four elite Umbaran soldiers, was dispatched to the Mos Eisley Cantina, to protect a group of ambassadors to the Rodian people, from a band of rebel traitors who, under the ruse of diplomacy, plotted to enslave the Rodians and force them onto the front lines of their deplorable rebellion. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of our noble sentinels to keep them from harm, the Rodian leaders chose to reject the care offered by our great emperor, and instead pledge their support to the despicable rebellion.

Some may see this as a defeat; however, the only ones who have lost this day are the Rodians. The rebellion has more than once demonstrated its true colors to the galaxy. Like when one of its highest ranking officers, Commander Han Solo, assassinated one of the Rodians’ own people in cold blood in the very Cantina where our confederate forces gave their lives to defend the Rodian kind. Even in this very firefight, the rebel leader, known only as the Corellian Comedian, showed his utter disregard for the lives of his troops when he ordered them to effectively commit suicide, by attacking our IG 110 peacekeeping droids, knowing full well that as soon as the droids were destroyed, they would combust, incinerating his men. Mark my words: A similar fate awaits all under the command of this sadistic jokester. The Rodians will soon lament the day they gave up the Confederacy for the rebellion.

To those who doubt the power and resolve of our mighty confederacy, I will point to this day with pride. With no orders but to protect the Rodians at all cost, this leaderless unit of security droids, and Umbarans singlehandedly went toe to toe with a well-equipped, and brutal squad of the rebellion’s highest ranking assassins, stood their ground, and did not give way without sending the squad’s captain and several other of the rebel terrorists to their doom.

To our other Confederate commanders, I say, do not lose heart, comrades! We will crush this loathsome rebellion, and all will see the power of our empire!

And to the Corellian Comedian, I say:
We may have "lost" the battle, but the war has just begun.

Don't listen to that quack!

[End transmission]

That's a bummer about Boba. Whoever ends up facing Assassin for Hire should focus on getting him OUT OF THE PICTURE.

But Commander Juice Man; way to face off the Commando Droids and live to tell about it!

We've still got them beat 3-1 so far anyways ThumpUp

My squad:
20 SpecForce Marine
19 Princess Leia, Rebel Commando / Leia Hoth Commander
18 C-3PO and R2-D2
18 Major Bren Derlin
15 SpecForce Infiltrator
15 SpecForce Technician
75 SpecForce Wilderness Fighter x5
8 R7 Astromech Droid
12 Mon Calamari Tech Specialist x3

(200pts. 15 activations)

My Wilderness Fighters were in high spirits, after all, a Docking Ring is just a different form of wilderness. The SpecForce went to secure the area around the nefarious bounty hunter (do we need his kind of scum?) Boba Fetts ship only to find the Confederate Empire had already set up a sonic cannon (perhaps expecting some of our jedi?).

No problem, it was unsupported and alone .... or so we thought. After action reports indicate that a squad of three BX Snipers and two BX Spotters devastated our SpecForce. The Wilderness Fighters camouflage and camaraderie were no match for the pin-point precision attacks from the BX teams. The SpecForce couldn't even see the droids until we got close (if only we had brought more Marines). The only bright spot was when the Marine ran up close to the BX Infiltrator and unloaded his blaster, missing once (side note, more training for our Marines). The look on that man's face at his miss can only be equaled by the puzzled hum from the Sniper as his apparent kill shot didn't do the job.

At that point, with five dead SpeccForce troops, Liea wisely sealed the docking bay bulkheads and extracted the remaining team.

No uniques lost.

Commanders,

Despite the loss of my personal vehicle I assure you I am undamaged and will be continuing with my assualt on Saleucami tomorrow. Due to Rebel spies that permeate every aspect of our communications. The size and composition of my force will remain classified until the campaign is over and the Zann Consortium is under Confederate rule.

Darth Jak,
Excellent work, I knew you could be trusted with such a delicate mission and while our forces on Tatooine have not faired as well. We now have a powerful ally whose very visage in battle will strike fear in our enemies hearts as he strikes down their commanders. You have also turned the tide of recent defeats and shown this treacherous Rebellion that the Confederacy is still the ultimate power in the galaxy.

Commander Lafcadio,
Despite the loss of the Rodians you performed well and have shown skill, as well as a prowess in combat for defeating several high-ranking Jedi.

These losses have damaged morale among the weak but with Darth Jak's victory, our resolve has never been stronger to eradicate this threat. Watch commanders, watch as Saleucami makes it's choice, turn. Or burn.

Thanks for the play report but shouldn't there be only one unique that got away? Once a mini flees the battlefield, all others left behind are defeated. At least according the rules we have been playing by in previous campaigns as well as this one.

Leia eliminated jak's R-7 and then double override until time up. Sounded better the other way.

PS

My fellow commanders, it seems the humble Mon Calamari Tech Specialist instilled fear in the Sonic Cannon's crew, and the droids targeted them as well. Something to think on.

This campaign is hilarious; the Rebels are way better equipped to take on the Seps than the Republic is.

Broadcasted to the citizens of the Republic, you say? Is that the same republic that just got crushed by our confederacy along with most of your jedi a few years ago?

Report from Saleucami.

Tyber Zann attempted to lure both the Rebellion and the Confederacy to his private palace as some sort of test of strength to see who the Consortium would back in this war. Apparently our recent losses caused him to doubt Lord Sideous. I led a force of shielded Hailfire droids and the enemy was a group of pilots who were ill-equipped to deal with our new shields. General Tann's technology and Passel's Self-relating software led us to victory as we surrounded our opponent, dominated and plundered the information in the command center and slew all of the enemy forces... All of them. Though it was not a perfect victory. One pilot named John McClane somehow managed to destroy a hailfire after it came back from the brink of destruction two times before it. I have confirmed that the rebel leader Bria Theren who has led the forces of the Red Hand was among the dead. Her forces may still remain but they will be broken without her. Also while the droids were rounding up the bodies my forces could not locate that of General Wedge Antilles. No doubt he is wounded but still alive. This is how the Confederacy takes planets.

Strength and Honour

Grievous Out

Defeated Uniques:

Bria Theren
Wedge Antilles
