#7 should definitely go to the bottom of the list. Story is empty with so much unnecessary repeatings from the distant past - message in the droid, desert home planet again, Death Star (destroyed) THIRD TIME!?! Characters are just very poor. Too bad to have them again in next 2 films. Every real and old fan is a little disappointed with #7.

It's a hard comparison. Rogue One is definitely one of the best they've ever made IMHO, but it needs the Original Trilogy to have the most impact.
