Okay. So, after a semi-enforced delay, we are resuming the NZ SWM Nationals for 2018. The lineup of our Final Four changed, however, when both Daman and TheHutts stepped out of the Final Four. As per an agreement we made at the beginning of the Nationals, Ian (Playtester extraordinare) was lifted into the Top 4 and, when Dave pulled out today, was granted a berth in the Finals to play against either Joe (Gandalf) or Mike (Smuggler... or is it Smiggler?) and I am watching that game right now! Its Talon Karrde v Talon Karrde on Great Library...
Joe is running Talon, Boba AFH, Morrigan, Mira, Evazan, Lobot and change. Mike is running Talon, Morrigan, Jarael, Marn, Evazan, and Boba AFH plus change.
Ian - the waiting finalist - is running 100pt Palps, Vader Lothal, Kylo Ren, a Death Trooper, and a coupl'a diplomats.

Mike bested Joe 210-58 and is now facing Ian on Modular Base for the National Championships!
...and Jarael is having a real MVP night. Sucks that Con Artist has been stripping Palp's Force Points... or does it?

You mean other than being a key part of the squad that won Gen Con the year he was released?

What does winning gencon have to do with it being sneaky powerful?

That means everyone knows it's powerful... so it's not sneaky anymore.

That is simply not what makes it sneaky powerful. It's sneaky because you don't really know how much an impact it makes until you play it.
PS the reason why it won gencon is no longer allowed, so the criteria for it's power cannot be contributed to it's past gencon win
