At gencon, I lost to my hard counter but also lost to the eventual champ, which was not a hard counter. I beat her in Swiss but lost in the top 8. Third time I've done that at GenCon.

If the piece was "fixed" and it is still debated on whether or not its overpowered that might be an indication that it's time to ban the piece competitively. Especially because I've seen the sentiment in this thread that Daala hasn't been as prominent because of the fact that people think she's overpowered and don't use her, which is kind of a catch 22.
