I've submitted my squad and map. Everyone can send me there squads and map whenever they are ready to before the sign up deadline. We have 9 players so far, so if we can get at least 1 more that'd be great! Maybe we can get to 3 or 4 divisions of 5 players? Could even do 4 divisions of 4 players if we get 16 people to sign up, where you'd have at least 2 games against players from other divisions and the top 2 from each division would go to playoffs. Thanks to all who have signed up so far! Looking forward to seeing what people come up with and if they decide to use the new mini's in v26!

Nightsister hunters and Tulak were too dominant and not fun to play against in this format. Tulak is uber tanky and in 100pt or 150pt, he is quite difficult to play against. Nightsister Hunters are just too powerful in a Mother Talzin Nightsister squad, so they have been banned for a while in this format. A lot players wanted them off the table to encourage more different squad builds. If a majority really want to have one or both available tho, we can have them. I'll leave that up to all the players tho if they feel the game is in a good enough state to have counters for them at all point levels. Wanted to confirm what the final decision is, so that I can make my team. Thanks

My vote would be to keep Tulak banned. Hunters I could go either way.

I have updated the original post's banned list. Tulak Horde is still banned for this format (too good in rounds 1 and 2). However, I think we can bring the Nightsister Hunter back into play, so they are legal for play. We can see how things go with their inclusion again after we've seen some counters made in the last couple sets. I'm hopeful they are ok now and not too dominant like they were when we first started Galactic Escalation tournaments 2 years ago.

*bump*
still room for more players if others would like to join. If we got 12, we can do 2 two divisions of 6 players and all the games played would be inside your own division. Any player count can work really in this format.

I'm tempted... but I have to study for exams. I'll still make a squad though!

Surely you can find 90 minutes per week, right? i'll add to this that rounds 1 and 2 games go super quick because they are 100pt and 150pt games. A 100pt game could seriously be over in 20 minutes of play time.
