Cassus had armour that was gold becasue he was an elite mando dude. KotOR was wrong. Sick figs man. I think mandos are the most fun to paint becase of the color schemes and armour peices.

Actually, the purple armor found in Kotor was the armor he wore before the Neo-Crusader armor became standard issue. After Cassus designed the Neo-Crusader armor, he wore a yellow (Field Marshal) suit instead. So both are technically correct.

RS - I never knew any of that, most interesting... unfortunately, I missed out on the old KOTOR games. I'm seriously deficient in OR-era stuff...

If the minis production is picked up again, you need to be the sculptor, Darth_Sal. These are waaaaay better than a lot of WotC's sculpts.

haha thanks! though... all I really do is cut & paste, then slap on some paint... actual sculpting is way out of my league!

dude how do you make those ponchos/capes/skirt type things? they look really nice. most of the mandos are RCTS resculpts and paints rite?

Correct most of the Mandos are really easy to do, just swap a gunslinger's head onto an RCTS body and repaint. The capes/ kamas are made from Green Stuff, I also use it to fill holes and other problem spots that arise when you do repositions and also to make pouches, holsters and backpacks.
