The Protectors provide interference and meat-shielding for the Shock Troopers who missile anything that move, and should defenses be breached, the troopers have optimally 28 defense. The Protectors and the Death Star Droid can also nullify enemy stealth if present.

Stealth ewoks sneak up and attack at a whole bunch for +30 damage. If an ewok moves up next to you and the turn ends and I get initiative, then I'm attacking you at a 12 plus swarm for 40 damage. Too many ewoks to kill quickly. Also, Vornskr is mean against Jedi. I know it's silly, but the stealth should give my 14 ewok scouts enough time to come chop you's up.

The Uncommon Threat

This batch has ranged support that is consistently reliable and it has a great way to deal with many of the melee Jedi that will certainly fill out many squads. Watchman and JWM/JBM all struggle against my three melee figs while the opposite is not true.
The Kel Dors and the BSV are made for each other, evade greater mobile, +12 attack. Okay so I have no accurate, however you need to get close to me too with my evasive mobile abilities, add to that the explosiveness of the keldors. Also thinking Jolt, Opportunist and Thudbug all work very well together. And RazorBug on the YVOG gives allows them to provide some ranged support as well. And a 50/50 save for 10 damage on any fig in LOS (legal target in LOS) especially in this format can be real nasty.

Czrerka gives twin, plus Verpine gives jolt and the Talz, giving Raiders +9 attack and 20 damage+ triple and twin and jolt! Giving the TBSV a great chance to get opp. Letting them do +13 for 30 with twin.

Triple Override is actually the most potent weapon of this squad. Genos and Scouts offset each other nicely, and Genos can help handle melee threats (aka Watchmen and BMs). Czerkas grant Twin to both groups. Shooters won't have anything to shoot at thanks to Cloaked, Kel Dors can be taken out by both Scouts and Genos without having getting adjacent. Vong (excluding Praetorite) don't deal very much damage and will fall to massed fire. Swarms, while a little more annoying, will have to get adjacent and can be picked off 2 per act by Scouts. And finally, squads that can get past all these counters will have to put up with being routed throughout the entire map thanks to Override.
