Yeah, I didn't realize that it would stir up a 4 paragraph answer. I just didn't see how the card "said" what the ruling was and to me, a plain reading of the card doesn't indicate anything that indicated it had to be announced at the start of the phase. Its not in the official glossary, and nothing specifically concerning Dodonna is in the FAQ, and like my post said (that flying arrow agreed with) it is "different" than Tarkins. I didn't know I had to go to three sites (two FAQ and the official yet not official anymore WOTC site) to get a ruling on a card that doesn't state what some are claiming it so clearly does.
