What is a qualifications to be mod? (just because there are 3 mods for 3114 members) so 1037 people/mod

There are 6 Mods who are incharge of all the sections. Chuckafett is a mod for the Trading section. Pretty much to be a mod, you have to demonstrate that you are an upstanding and trustworthy member of the forum.

Congrats. Even the most well intentioned mod needs a break from time to time to get away from the seriousness of the forums to remember why they like SWM in the first place. Maybe a change every so often would not be bad so we can have fresh refs when we need them.

Well, we can figure close to 100 or more belong to the first 40 IPs banned. Although I need to check, it might've been more names than that...

Congrats to all the new mods, especially Swinefeld, a fantastic addition to the SWM community! I'm also glad to hear that we have a new mod from New Zealand, my spiritual homeland! I'm excited about this new era. Attaboys all around!
