Honestly, if I was trying to poke fun at anyone it was myself. The posts I made early last week were extremely and intentionally obnoxious. It was not meant to offend anyone, I was having fun at my own expense. To BlooMilks credit I was banned for like 3-5 days and I deserved it. Shinja sent me a very nice PM explaining why it happened and now I've toned it down in an attempt to be a little more serious about my opinions. See my Q&A Thread. I openly apologize to anyone who I offended last week, it was not my intention. Those who know me personally can tell you that I just like to get a little goofy sometimes. That was a bad decision on my part. Again, I sincerely apologize. Let's move on from my silly child-like behavior.  I totally understood that you were trying to have a little fun. I thought it was funny actually , I had a pretty good laugh over it. All of us myself included tend to take ourselves way to seriously. Maybe we should take a step back and laugh at ourselves once in a while. One thing about WOTC's website when it was thriving was that although petty battles and disagreements came up often, there was a lot of levity on that site, at least early on. I miss that.

It isn't funny to make fun of someone else' hard work. You pissed off a really nice and generous guy with that thread, who had no idea who you were, or why you would say such things about his idea.
As clarification, I did know who Spicy Carlosweiner was, as I had met him at Origins and later conversed with him at Gencon several years back. I quoted the first statement from Bill because that's exactly how I was taking it, and probably was a small intent of it as well. As for the "committee" thing, well what else was I suppossed to call it given the cultural and social context of conveying what I was trying to do? Had it just been a group of RL friends whom I interact with face to face, I could have simply said " Hey, we're going to take a closer look at the maps and see which ones we think are best for Restricted Play." Since I was petitioning COMmunity members which many I have never met face to face, I had to be a bit more formal. Where I was getting irritated was my belief that I was getting thrown in the middle of a petty disagreement between two other partys and one in which I really didn't feel it was fair that I belonged. Luckily, I was someone who knew Weiner Spicycarlos, so I was able to step back for a bit and see what was going on. However, Carlos Weinerspicy, what if that had been a relatively new member who was only trying to do his part? I wonder, would you have had the same reaction? And if you had, what repercussions would your actions have had on that member? Likely, we'd have lost yet another member. Really, it was a "WTH??" moment for me, and I'm over it as Spicyweiner Carlos has apologized to me (although unnecessary as I just needed an explanation for his actions) and I have moved on. Seriously, it was what...a week ago now?

Seriously, it was what...a week ago now? I have no explanation for Carlos Spicywiener. He does what he pleases without regard for those he offends. I spend a lot of time apologizing and paying the price for Carlos Spicywiener, he is the ultimate love/hate kind of wiener. Do you think it's weird how a week after Carlos makes his obnoxious statements that things calm down and actually get a little better? It happens almost every time (dating back to his first appearance on WotC). I think in some sort of strange way Carlos knows exactly what he is doing. Hmmmm........ BTW, Carlos would be very upset that you made a post with 6 paragraphs. He only reads the first two sentences. Shawn.

It hasn't exactly calmed down. In fact, I poked the friggin bees nest again. We'll see how this weekend goes.

Since you're a mod you are not in a position to have a Spanish title. TrapperSlider was the only mod to ever earn a Spanish title. Sorry, that's just the way it is.
