Yeah, it was shaping up to be an epic fight. I started to play a bit sloppy as time ran down, but my Rancor was poised to be a real badass.
We'll have to do a superbrawl like that again someday - perhaps over at the Greenbean so we can get an extra hour.

I dont know if I'll have time between now and then to build squads - so I'll have to see if I just cant knock 50 points off what I have assembled now.

That is pretty much what we will be doing for our squads. I know my sister is looking forward to squaring off with your ninja rancor. Girlfriend deciding between wookies again or a sith squad. Also if you want any of my duplicate minis in my last post let me know what you have for trade.

Gah! Phooey - I may not be able to make it. I've got interviews on the eastside late in the day which might mess up my evening schedule. We'll see if I can get there, but dont wait up on me. keith wrote:Also if you want any of my duplicate minis in my last post let me know what you have for trade. At first glance, there wasn't anything that caught my eye - but I'll have my spreadsheet with me, so we can talk if I indeed show up.

For those who can't see, he's set it up with LED's under the map that light up at doors and places where there would be lights. (i.e. the slot machines on this map blink.) I've seen pictures of the crystal caves map you set up. That looks even cooler!

blasted, I wish I could have shown up - but I didn't get back Seattle side until after 6-ish and wouldn't have gotten up there until nearly 7. Ah well - next time!

Yes, but that was after your GOWK and crew shellacked my whole squad in the first game ChadB wrote: For those who can't see, he's set it up with LED's under the map that light up at doors and places where there would be lights. It looks much better in person, and doesn't photograph well under bright lights. I will bring the crystal caves map module for the game on the 7th. With 100 point teams everyone should be able to get a game on it.

I finished all my running about errands and I have just enough time to throw together a hundred points for tonight - so barring unforeseen problems, I should be there.

Sorry guys, boss kept me till 5. It's 530 now which means there is no way I will make it from Sumner to Seattle in time. I would have better luck trying to make the kessel run in 12 parsecs. To make matters worse my mom, sister, and girlfriend wanted to go but their squads were at my house. I'm shooting for the next game though. Here is a pic of the light up crystal caves map I was going to bring. Will bring next game.

Awesome. That should be a lot of fun. I'm planning on being at the next one.
(Also the map should work really well with the 4 characters no override restriction.)

Due to changes in work duties, Thursdays are now impossible for me to get to Seattle by 6. I have Sat/Sun off now. I don't want to mess up the schedule, so is there any interest in doing a one-off Sat or Sun game? Maybe start earlier so we get more than 2 hours and just do a big event? I have some SWM stuff I need to find a home for to offer up as a grand prize. I would be bringing myself plus 3 other players. Plus the light up crystal caves map.

I'd need to check store availability, but I could be up for something like that.
