O I totally agree with you Ed.
The way Im seeing it tho, the prices on these minis are only going to go up if the Fellas at Gamers keep the great work up.
The only way you are going to get anything cheaper then the going rate will have to be with Private sellers on Ebay.
15$ is a bit much as far as playability goes, but in the interest of completing sets, 15$ isnt so bad.

I have three Storm Commandoes, and two IG Lancer Droids. I got the Aerial Clone Trooper Captain for like $6 on eBay. The CS Destroyer Droid, on the other hand, I finally got via trade in the mail. I had to give Vader's Apprentice Unleashed and Boba Fett, Mercenary for it. Guess which piece I voted as rarest?

I would have to say it is most difficult to find the IG by itself. The CS destroyer droid can be found individually as can the Aerial CT. You can still buy cases of A&E at a very low price.

I'd probably have to go with Destroyer Droid on that list. Though if there was a write-in I'd put down Ugnaught Demolitionist Promo.
Take a cheap, common, but popular/important piece, give it a new paint job and make it a promo, and that's a pretty good recipe for 'hard to get'.
