Similar to Qyzen I suspect. Synergizes well with Jedi Guardians or Jedi Sentinels.

btw, I'm not just being random. She's in the micro-set and she just got previewed on SHNN.
Can you post her stats? Or a link to the pod cast if not? I can't remember where the SHNN is hosted from, and google is baring no fruit.

That's a great force power.

She looks fun. An OR Revan squad has a pretty good swap partner. Or Nomi Sunrider, MotO can give them range 8 teleport. Now, just need a force battery for the OR.

I like her. With her low attack and defense I think she may need to be paired with Kavar. Even then, with no defensive abilities or defensive CEs in the OR she will get swatted like a fly.

"Eat lightsaber, jerk!"
Leaping Assault sounds kind of like it should be placement: 'leaping' and 'any unoccupied square within 6 squares'. However, it says 'move', which leads me to interpret this in a way unlike any movement breaker we've seen before: * You ignore low objects and difficult terrain because you count distance in squares rather than movement. That is, it's "within 6" like a CE, not "move 6" where low objects and difficult terrain count double. * However, you can't ignore pits or enemies, because it is actually movement... AoOs are ignored, but you can't move to a spot unless you could move there with a normal move. Edit: Note that this interpretation is incorrect. See below.

Actually it's worded exactly like Levitation, except you replace "1 small or medium ally" with "this character". It works the same way.

I think it has to say "move" or else you could use it to "teleport" through walls and doors.

Echo24 wrote:Actually it's worded exactly like Levitation, except you replace "1 small or medium ally" with "this character". It works the same way. Great point! I would ask if Levitation allows you to jump over pits or enemies, but it's probably in the FAQ (which I'll check next). I don't know if I've ever tried that, but I always assumed it did. But I reached that interpretation based on the ability name (Levitation), not the wording of the ability. Edit: I checked the FAQ and the glossary for Levitation. Levitation does allow you to ignore all terrain and characters, so you can levitate over pits and enemies. You can't levitate through closed doors or walls, though. I guess this is a criticism of WotC, because nothing in the definition or glossary entry of Levitation indicates you can ignore enemies or pits while moving. It's only the FAQ. I had never read Levitation that closely until now. I'm glad Leaping Assault matches up with an existing ability... good call by the design team.

Can the character go anywhere on the map? Through walls? Through enemy characters?
A: The affected character may take any desired path, one space at a time, through squares that are within 6 squares of the character with Levitation. Other characters and terrain are ignored but the character may not cross through walls.
Q: Can you use Levitation to drop an allied character into a pit square?
A: No.
Q: Would Levitation movement trigger Mines?
A: Yes.
Q: Can Levitation be used to board an ally onto a transport like the Troop Cart?
A: Not directly. The only way to board a transport is to end a move in a square adjacent to it. Levitation is movement, so it can achieve that proper method without actually moving the character onto the transport.
Q: Could Levitation be used to move a character into range of Ysalamiri?
A: Yes.

Interesting interpretation of "Child of the Emperor." Why "enemy" Emperors and not "Emperors, regardless of faction" opening an interaction of possible affinity for this character (or any character) with Child of the Emperor special ability into the Sith faction. (Note: this more because I have only seen this title given in The Old Republic. Maybe there are other instances.) Just odd knowing the character was once "possessed" by the Darth Vitiate, Sith Emperor. This, I assume, represents her after she defies him.

This game is also played without factions - booster tournaments, leagues, scenarios, special formats, etc. There might never be an Emperor in OR, but it's not hard to picture her on a squad with one. Betrayal, too.

Just understand my question is "nerd nit picking." I'm not disagreeing but it appears to be an odd choice for an ability. Knowing that, as of right now, Porta-Palps is the most played version and mostly for a force battery, he would be the most likely victim of the ability. Roan Fel has no renewal so two "leaps" and he's tapped. I'm sure some other Emperor may rear his/her head.
*note: forgot about Mara Jade and the other Emperor's hands (With Name containing Emperor)

True, at least you can play him Potty Palps...um, nevermind. Forget I said that. However, it's so limited you can't plan on it from either side.

Unless he's proxy for Muur, he doesn't see much action in the first place.
