Was much more fun than the first use the force event. Was really funny to see Steve beat Darrell's awesome sep squad with OR.
I ended up winning the event, which really wasn't intended. I paid to play so we we would have 6 and then shris showed up late, so we had 7. I ended up playing him in the final round and we had nearly the same squad. throne, sith witch, scourge. I had also had another witch and juhani, he had arica and logray. Was a fun event overall. Lots of well played games.
We opened 2 VR's maris brood and anakin sith apprentice. I took the apprentice which is being used to trade for promos to give away at future events

I'm now gleefully unemployed and have nothing but free time for 3-6 months. I'm looking to play more games I'll try to head out early on Weds. I'm also on Vassal now so if anyone wants to play PM a time and I'll pencil in some games.
Omnus and Nightwalker was saturday all obi?

I'm getting better ya'll... be mindful. And with the 'Jedi Acedemy' being the new booster theme... be prepared to see me use the Vong to their upmost abilities!

Haha, well first of all I don't doubt your skill at all. I think as you get more games in you will be another player getting rares for prizes : ) I feel like most of your losses come from not really knowing how a particular interaction of pieces/powers work because you have never had it happen before. Once you are past that you will be some great competition, which I am ahppy to have. Plus you are getting more pieces. I thinks its awesome because I know the power of that sep squad. Darrell doesn't always play it to it's fullest but its a nice squad. I was even cocerned about how I would do against it. Then you beat it with the OR underdogs. The squad darrell played is modified version of basically the same squad he has played in what 4/5 of the last events he played in? He generally does pretty well with it, so it says something about your skill. Oh and I have second the mexican on this one....Ewww vong

Midnight Release for JA...June 15/16th (night of the 15th, morning of the 16th)
Bellevue Regionals...June 27th.
Nightwalkers, please make specific event posts for each of these.
I have no idea what the point total for the release will be yet. Starting time for Regionals may be noon or even 11am because we are looking at a 7 hour event minimum. So don't list specific times for that yet.
Please include a note that anyone can PM me for contact information for either event. Uncles will actually be giving out my cell to anyone needing more info. Regionals will be held in the mall. Amazing food court with a qfc/grocery store aswell for anyone who is coming thats new to the area.

Maybe I should have said topics...I know you want to post the stuff because of your sick love for calenders : ) New topic, new post. Individual topics in the event forum for each of the major events. but adding them to this post was a good idea too

Only 10 days between JA release and Regionals...not much time to integrate new pieces.
I expect a lot of squads will have the good Uncommons from JA (probably will have decent fringe) and maybe the new Cade if he is Fringe.
To early to speculate but it would be nice to have the set stats just to figure out how the new figs fit.
