another possible change (but far less important/necessary) would be tighten the basic stats up just a bit (to increase the room for the SAs/FPs/CE) - Move the text to the left half a letter and reduce the length to center "HIT POINTS". That should create a decent increase in space for SAs without really sacrificing anything. To kind of add to what he's saying, I think instead of lightening the colored background, make the Force Powers text white. I think that would look pretty sweet.

So i know their looking at republishing the original v-set I think it would be cool if they redid the artwork as well, and maybe the design too. I would love to have a set of cards that look like these

I'm probably going to make some adjustments the next time i fiddle with the cards. pastorbudwine@mac.com wrote:So i know their looking at republishing the original v-set I think it would be cool if they redid the artwork as well, and maybe the design too. We already have 3 different types of cards, so i hope they keep the design at least until v10. There's also the usual copyright infringement stuff to think about. The pictures on my cards would definitely be a no-go for 'officially' printed cards i think.

Well i've been busy since my last update, so there's not much for me to show you guys this time. But i have been working on a little something for an event you might have heard of called BuffaCon being held december 7-9. You can find all the details here. I'm not going to spoil anything, but check the thread for hints. I did finish one of my own customs though. It's been in the works for some time, and i finally finished the job. Added to the first page: Darth Malgus (Sith)

Biggsy, I don't think Anybodies cards are "legal;" the V-Set uses pics of WOTC pieces, and every custom card maker I've ever seen has used pics from the net. The only exception I've ever seen was the "Lost Twenty" cards that someone drew up the art for. Unless you draw up your own art, we're all technically illegal. But hey, we do it for fun, not $$$$$.

That is definitely a possibility surf_rider56 wrote:How much of Malgus's breath mask is greenstuff? Very detailed Almost none of it is greenstuff actually. The whole head is from some Warhammer 40k figure, bald and with a breather. Perfect for Malgus!

Holy sarlaac...... (Me, Myself, and I) Mos Eisley is AWESOME! How did you ever manage to do that? The customs are really sweet too, I like the realistic "weathering" (not quite the right word) that you've given them! Btw, I love the pic you chose for Corran JM's card! I've always liked that one ever since I picked up the NEGtC.

Well i'm sad to say that i haven't been working on anything recently. Interest in the game here has been dwindling for a while, and my playgroup has been moving on to other games. It's actually been months since i last played a game, and so there hasn't been much motivation for me to make any new minis. I do have some unfinished projects that i have to get to work on again soon. But i can't tell you anything about it though, besides the fact that they are minis from the upcoming v-set and miniset. They are going to be used as prizes at GenCon later this year! As for the PDFs, give me half an hour and i'll have them ready for you. cliford13 wrote:hay I'm kinda new to customizing and I play sith, can you give me any pointers on how you created that darth malgus and that mos eisley and all those pieces make me think I am in minigaming star wars heaven I've sent you a PM cliford13

Oh i actually have a few pictures of stuff that i have not posted yet. Some of you may have seen them before, if you either won them or attended one of the events i made them for. These three Bounty Hunter Challenge pieces were made for BuffaCon 2012 as prize support. Luke Skywalker, Master of the Order (after making the first one, i wanted a more dynamic pose, so i made another version) and Darth Sidious, Sith Mastermind This Mandalore the Vindicated was made as prize support for FrostyCon 2013
