Would only "real " minis be allow? I don't know if I'd want to play any games where figures from the virtual sets are legal.

Seriously, go read my most recent post on the Satele thread (p.8) and you'll see that we're entirely on the same wavelength. Da comrade TINT.

Typically all of the WNY events involve the v-sets, hopefully this will not deter you from joining in on the fun. If you need v-sets I have spare sets from R&R/BoT & Vengeance/Cantina Brawl.

I don't know if I'd want to play any games where figures from the virtual sets are legal. there are three minis that may not be used for this tournament the two bounty hunter pieces (though the promo cards will be rewarded as prizes) and the AT-AT. In my mind the V-sets are just as good as what WOTC produced and in some cases better. Plus seeing how SWM is a community supported game now, I do not think it is in good taste to not allow V-set pieces to be played. give the v-sets a shot, I was a little hesitant when the first set came out to say the least, in fact i did not like the idea at all. but now I am first in line to support new v-sets

This event is really shaping up, great job on the prize support PB! On a side note, the Sunday event will most likely be held at Jester's Cap.

They are just finishing up the store renovation, so space shouldn't be an issue.

Personally I would prefer a wide open event but that's your call PB?

Like Nader said it's up to you, but I don't think any restrictions would be necessary. Tempo control can be annoying to play against, but it has enough counters. As for the huge thing, that could be fun, although I think the Vong have the advantage there since any other squad since the Yammosk is an auto-include and any other squad would need to spend at least 22 points on a huge even if they didn't plan to utilize it. Still it could mean some creative squads, but we would definitely need to have at least have access to the standard map list then.

I agree vong would have an edge if we required a huge, I just don't want to see 37 mouse droids is all.
