Are there going to be other massive campaigns like this in the future for the other eras?

No way to know. If this campaign is successful, it could happen.

No, but...

* First, keep in mind that if a Unique is defeated, only that version of the character is defeated. Since it's only 6 rounds long, there will always be another version of Luke available, for example. It would hurt to lose Luke Rebel Commando, but there's still Hoth Pilot Unleashed, etc.

* We're planning to do standard 200 point games including gambit, so if someone reaches 200 points (including gambit) without defeating a Unique, the Unique survives. If you're behind on points but manage to lock a Unique in a room, the Unique will survive. If time runs out, and the Unique is still alive, they survive. Games are 60 minutes in person. Vassal has a longer time limit - whatever was used for the Vassal regional. 75 or 90 minutes, I think.

Okay, actually... I just put in a retreat rule. After some reflection, we won't have referees nearby, and without a retreat rule it could lead to some ugly stalling as people try to save a Unique by running out the clock. So I've added a rule that if you can leave the battle grid with a character, the character is not defeated, but you immediately lose the skirmish and all other characters in the squad are defeated. So you could only save one character by retreating, plus you automatically lose.

I've got just about every map except Anchorhead (hopefully soon) so we're covered.

Do you have the rest of JC Map Pack 2 without Anchorhead? The campaign does not use just the restricted list - it could use maps from any of the 3 lists (restricted, standard, open).

Basicly, don't ever let General Riekian get killed.

I think it's now late enough that we finalize knappskirata as Supreme Commander for Rebels and shmi15 as Supreme Commander for Imperials. shmi15 didn't want to step forward if someone else wanted to do it, but I think it's easier if we finalize it now so that the SCs can start looking at the maps and talking to people.

I'll serve as scorekeeper - keeping track of how many points each side has, which maps have been used, etc.

I asked AndyHatton to serve as referee in case there are any disputes, and to watch to make sure the character allocations are legal, etc.

There are tons of Vaders - show your commitment by being willing to lose a Thrawn.

Welcome aboard!

You'll have to talk to knappskirata about getting Pavan and Laranth. He'll be the Rebels Supreme Commander.

Maps and Fringe Bonuses are now posted in the rules thread.

I also clarified the rule about Fringe Bonuses. If you win a skirmish on a map that has an attached Fringe Bonus, your faction wins the use of the associated Fringe figure(s) for the rest of the skirmish - or until it is defeated if a Unique. However, if you win a "package" such as the Black Sun or "Rodian non-uniques", only one player on your side gets to use them at a time. You can't, for example, split a package up so that one player uses a Rodian Black Sun Vigo while another player has the Dug Black sun Vigo.

Waiting on confirmation from: Sashlon and juice man.

Also, pastorbudwine needs a Vassal opponent. If anyone that is still watching and hasn't signed up yet can play against pastorbudwine, it's just 6 skirmishes spread out over 12 weeks.
