Yoda and Phantom Menace used Heroclix pieces. Yoda uses an Aquaman (from the DC 'Icons' set) and Phantom Menace uses a Shaman (from the Marvel 'Armor Wars' set). Using Shaman's lightning was brilliant! I never thought of that but I think I'll steal it for a few of my Dark Sider Customs (my Joruus could use a lil something.)

Thanks, corran. Considering how much greenstuff is on him, I'm really happy with how he turned out.

You got the saber color for Revan right. Purple is awesome. I don't like to overuse it on chars, though.

This week's customs brought to you by Dungeons and Dragons Miniatures. Added Belth Allusis, Alexi Garyn, Darth Wyyrlok III, Juggernaut, Mando Flame Trooper and Mando Infiltrator. Every piece except the Flame Trooper contains at least a little bit from a D&D mini.

Great Work here! Very nice conversions. What mini did you use for the Juggernaut?

The one that looks evil, right?

Yeah, part of the reason I used him. I couldn't see him ever being used for a D&D character.

Maul, Shadow Hunter is amazing! What did you use as a base?

corranhorn wrote:I like Alexi and Belith in particular I'm really happy with Alexi. Cutting away the changeling's legs without removing the coat was a pain. And I didn't make it any easier on myself by using a Twi'lek Scoundrel for the legs, which required the same kind of cutting. SignerJ wrote:Maul, Shadow Hunter is amazing? What did you use as a base? Maul uses an Arashi with the puffy pants cut away, a Chronos head and a bunch of greenstuff. The pose actually made it a lot harder to paint as I was trying to get the brush into all the little gaps.

So many cool pieces. I really like the Republic Commandos, Chewy in the At-ST, and the droid customs. Very very nice work.
