I am slightly disappointing that with such a high demand for certain figures we have not received them. I know for a face I have seen some names on hear at least 10 times a piece, and with such a small community I would think those would make priority over other characters. Just a few of theses that really should be at the very top of the list off the top of my head

Keep in mind, the list is long, and old. The cloned Emperor is something that has gained steam recently, imo. But I look at V5, and see a whole lot of requested pieces.

Although not germane to the point, I've been in the minority of never seeing a reborn Emperor. That little side arc was very badly written (Not Kevin J. Anderson badly written but badly written ntl). Granted, with the canon institution of Cyber Maul, who am I to judge. Now, if we can get handless Mace integrated into canon.

I actually looked at the list that was compiled for us around V2 was getting started, not in the top 10 (which ended up being 18 minis due to ties). Keep in mind, there has to be a balance between what the community wants and what the designer wants. Designing is not as easy as a lot of people think, and there needs to be room for a designer to make what he wants, to keep them into it. V5 and V6 are a nice balance.

I just checked, and a Cloned Palpatine had just 4 requests in the set 6 thread. Not that many, certainly not an outcry for him. In fact, a new Lando go exactly that many votes, too. A new Chewbacca also had 4 votes. There was a list compiled a little while ago of community wants, and the Cloned Emperor actually only had 2 votes then. So yeah, he did only gain steam recently, and even so it hasn't been a lot of steam.

On the other hand, the top 10 requested pieces at the time included Pre Vizla, Cassus Fett, Onimi, Tenel Ka, Jango Fett, Corran Horn, and Jan Ors. So 7 of the top 10 requests either have been made or are coming out in the next set (Jan Ors). I can tell you that 2 of the other 3 will be released sometime soon also. So the idea that we somehow don't listen closely to community wants seems very misguided. We might not make your biggest want, but we're listening and always have been.

What's up with all the bitching? Just because a certain piece is requested by a lot of members, it doesn't mean that the design team is obliged to make them ASAP. also, i see no point in making a certain piece if the faction doesn't need it at this point. Then i'd rather wait for a really good version later on, than get a mediocre rushed version now just because people are crying out for it.
