This came up in another thread, but I thought I would put it here... another suggestion for a 3 point piece. A very minimal Force spirit:
Yoda's Resting Spirit Cost: 3 Unique, Emplacement Spirit: (Just like Light Spirit but doesn't grant FR1 or Mettle... not a target, kill for a force point, save 11, yada yada...) Force 1 CE: An ally within 3 squares may spend this character's Force Points. Can't combine or spend more than once.
The filler pieces fill a lot of roles: activations, blockers, door openers, door control, etc. This piece would not be a blocker (for targeting) or a door opener, so it wouldn't be in every squad. But getting one force point, activation, and obstacle for 3 points. Useful sometimes.

I can think of pieces like: Darth Maul on speeder Kenobi on Boga, Durge and Kenobi on speeder bikes, and I think there are some episodes with Mace and Clones on the AT-RT, (one of my fav pieces of the past) Grievous's Wheel Bike, Yoda on Kybuck, Han Solo on Tauntaun, Luke Skywalker on Tauntaun, Luke's Snowspeeder, Luke's Landspeeder ! Kenobi and Luke :) Imagine Tarpalas and Jar Jar on a Kaadu
If you could give them dismount... without the save 11 Anyway, you get the idea. Maybe it should be a subset or something.

+1 especially to Wheelbike Grievous Wheelbike 87 HP 200 Def 21 ATk 14 Dmg 30 SA Unique Cyborg Damage Reduction 10 Twin Attack Wheeled Mounted Weapon Wall Climber Dismount (when this character is defeated, immediately place a character named General Grievous with a cost of 50 or less in one of the squares this character formally occupied, save 11) Momentum Crush (During this characters movement it cannot enter any square twice. This character can enter squares occupied by medium or smaller enemy characters, an enemy character affected in this way takes 20 damage and must immediately move to an empty square adjacent to this character. Save 6 to avoid the damaging effect.)

I don't care what the new v-set brings in, just as long as this dismount idea never sees the field. The idea of playing a piece that is already good, and not caring what happens to it because it can be brought back as another piece with a save is an awful idea.

Currently, one unit exists with Dismount. V-Set's Nightsister on Rancor. Granted, it's a 62 pt piece that gives way to a 20 pt piece.

Maybe he can be New Republic because he is in Legacy as the Grand Master. Tra'saa also survives to Legacy as well so she could be NR as well. Also I think it would be good to get a few more non-unique pieces in. Also building up the smaller factions like Mando and Vong would be good. I have enjoyed some of the new Vong like the Voxyn Queen. Also I think we could use some more artillary. Like the large cannons in the CW or some of the tanks from Empire at War. I think this is what will be in V-set 6 miniset Vehicles of War.

Hi if you are considering a mini set with dismount, there are is more I can contribute. Note that there are more pieces you can add to that list just from the movies. Count Dooku from attack of the clones. Obviously Lea and Luke from return of the Jedi. Of course the dismount ability is the main driver behind the idea, but we can look at it to do different things for different factions. I believe movement breaker for the separatist is a big one. The idea behind that would be to give the speed bikes or hovercrafts very low shields and hit points. So for example you would give Dookus bike 20-40 hit point and 15 defenses, accelerate but no attack so he would have to dismount to attack. Again the main idea here would be to brink Dooku behind enemy lines. For Grievous wheel bike you could give him some special ability to grab someone while moving and bring him back to your camp, in the movies we see him grab clone troopers and sling them into a pit…, be pretty cool to execute. The grab part could be a save11; so that if he does not grab one piece he could grab another. You could also force enemies to move while the wheel bike goes through. Again Grievous can’t attack from the wheel bike but must dismount. Darth maul would be different he would have a dismount attack, similar to charging fire, but he would have leaping overhead strike ( LOL ) as seen in the movies for 40 damage or something like that, but yeah. I can’t fill in the details. I’m just an idea guy. Will send more if I come up with other ideas.

Hmmmm...Have I seen this someplace before? Have you posted this before someplace else. I have posted this in a previous wish list and when talking about epics and vehicles. Crush is a fun one that I don't think is overpowered because it's like strafe but easier to dodge, just picture clone troopers diving out of the way. It's great haha.

An old republic force sprit. Andur Sunrider would be nice. More shooters for them between 5 and 15 points.
Less 50+ characters in all factions.
Less fringe per set, 6 characters is more than enough considering just how many fringe we now have.

we kicked around the idea of a shape shifter when the new Zam was created. I would have to go back and look at that thread, but shape shifting might be one of those things that sounds easy till it come to a rules definition.
I could see some sort of ideas such as at the start of the skirmish pick one enemy character. This character gains the name, attack, defense, and damage of that character till this character has taken 50 pts of damage.
It could also be that the character you chose is the only character that could target this character till it take 50 pts of damage.
Just thoughts.
