The high point of my Star Wars Miniatures life was competing in Gencon last year. My issue is that I can count the number of people I know who play SWM in the UK on one hand. Vassal is great, but I still like my minis.
I currently live in the Czech Republic and have no miniatures with me here. Weirdly enough writing this is quite emotional. I loved this game, and it makes me sad that I have fallen away from it. My intention is to return to the UK at some point, join a regular gaming group and start converting people. I feel your pain. Minis are few and far between in the UK, but the players are harder to find than a sealed box of Bounty Hunters! For the record, I have three sealed boosters of Bounty Hunters and would gladly trade them for three active players.

I'm 15 and live Winterpeg Manasnowa in the great flat country of Canada eh. I've been playing since the middle of fourth grade when a friend in the grade below me introduced me to the game so 2006. I go hooked instantly no prodding required so I asked my parents if I could take up the hobby they said yes because it would let do something other then play Pokemon emerald and watch T.V and i'd have to use my brain for it, so me and my mom went down to my local hobby shop and picked up the ROTS starter and she also bought me a few other peices like some wookies and droids. Like I said hooked the guybwho introduced me and after a few weeks training (playing my dad, because my mom wouldn't touch this game :) I joined the local tournament scene played till it shut down due to lack of players and now I'm on here. The End :D

If you were in Neast England I'd happily game, without the need of a deal sweetner.

33, and live in Atlanta. Started playing about 3 years ago towards the end of WOTC releases. I was introduced to the game by Greg Sutton and began playing with the Atlanta group every weekend. While the group doesn't get to meet up as much as we used to, when we do get together it's just like old times.

Hey guys and gals. I'm a 41 year old guy and just a huge Star Wars fan. I was lucky enough to see every movie in the theatre... the first when I was 5 (I feel asleep until the Death Star battle woke me up, haha). Looking forward to seeing Episode VII and more. I'm also a huge gamer.. my parents owned an Atari 2600 in '80 where my addiction started. When Star Wars and gaming collide I try to get involved. I've played nearly every PC or console Star Wars game. I started SWM from the beginning when my gamer buddies and I were much younger. I collected sporadically until Wizards stopped production, but haven't played an actual game in maybe 5 years. I mostly come to Bloomilk to create custom minis.

Hey I'm 25 years old and live in south western Ontario in Canada...started playing when my brother bought the clone strike starter set back in 04/05 on a trip to Chicago...we got into the first 4 sets heavily then stopped for a few years and now in this past year he have picked it up again since we ordered more pieces and showed a couple of our friends the game who are also hooked and collecting and playing it. In total we have 7 of our friends playing and we try to play once a week doing fun games and tournaments.

16. Though people usually tell me that from our online interactions they think I'm much older. Hoping that's a good thing. I've been playing since I was in fourth grade, I think, so about 7 years. I'm really the only active player left in north DE save for one friend, but I'm within "event distance" of Darth Jim, Hinkbert, FlyingArrow, TINT, and AndyHatton (plus a few more I think).

<----- This guy is a graphics designer at Purdue University and is the head graphic designer for the vset cards. He also is a vset designer, Indiana Regional organizer, and regional judge. He is a Libra that likes long walks on the beach wearing a coconut bra, with a conch republic flag as a cape while sipping a boat drink. :)

I am a junior in high school, and I have been playing since Revenge of the Sith. My playgroup died out shortly after WotC ceased supporting the game, and like many people I am the last remains of what was once an enormous thriving community. I have had to move on the new games, which I love, but this game is still my favorite, and will always hold a special place in my heart. Cheers to those who keep the game alive.

I opened one instantly, and it had Bossk, Bounty Hunter. That deterred me from opening the other three. The only ones listed on the internet are for $52 and $119, so I'll probably sell them. corranhorn wrote:16. Though people usually tell me that from our online interactions they think I'm much older. I'm in Delaware (when Im' not in college)! You're not the only active player left! (and since its Delaware, you gotta be less than an hour from my house.....) My brother has a good sized collection (most of the staple minis, ranging from Lobot, Ugnaughts, Thrawn, and Cad Bane to Yobuck, Rieekan, and Han Galactic Hero, but he doesn't like the V-sets too much) and I can occasionally get him to play with me, so I'm not totally starved. More often than not I play against myself. We need to hook up sometime during December or the summer, when I'm home from college.
