So now we've seen Pote Snitkin and Ortugg, Gamorrean Leader. Ortugg grants Hutt Cartel to non-Unique Fringe allies. Then Pote Snitkin grants Hutt Cartel pieces Overload (through Specialization, so you have to build for it). So a YVH 2 can do Grenades 30 twice. The Hutt Cartel pieces can also pile onto a Skiff (6 of them) to shoot from a platform. The Skiff gets DR10 if Pote is one of the riders, so it can live a bit longer than it would have otherwise.

Whoa! That's cool!

There should be something where the Beast Rider of Onderon can 'Mount' the recently-tamed enemy, giving them the same 'Dismount' ability that the Beast Rider on Drexl has.

Looking over a few of the new characters.

Bright Tree Village Ewok:
I really like bravado on ewoks. I feel like if anyone deserves it, it's them.
BTV Ewok seems most comparable to the Ewok Scout, who I am guessing fills the same role in a squad (swarm melee ewoks). For +5 cost, you're basically gaining 4x HP, +2 Attack, losing stealth, and swapping Cunning for Bravado.

I think that the 40HP will go a lot further than the 10HP+Stealth on the scout. Bravado also seems to be the more beneficial of abilities, as my experience with cunning ewoks is that they quickly lose their damage and accuracy as the bulk of the swarm will activate to late to benefit from Cunning Attack. I'm looking forward to running these guys. I also think they'll be more fun to play in a swarm than most ewok builds... I'm glad we have some higher point units to swarm with. I much rather run 11 point figs than 3 point ones, just because I feel the 11 point swarm is more fun for all players included (faster game, more survivable pieces).

Cindel Towani
I've been looking forward to this character for a long time! About what I was hoping for (a cheap utility piece who bolsters Wicket). I am interested in seeing what her brother does, as is hinted by her camaraderie.

For 10 points we grant some specific allies more survivable and gain a small movement breaker. I can see the movement breaker being pretty useful, especially for 10 points, when used in combo with Chew-ST, Han, or Luke and Golden One). It'll combo nicely with Ambush, or even to get help get Teebo some LOS for his special abilities.

Protective +10 seems like its mainly there for flavor. I don't see Cindel doing much damage. Maybe giving her friends Evade will give them the ability to survive a few hits and trigger her Protective damage.

Ortugg, Gamorrean Leader
I'm a huge fan of sub-faction boosters. This guy reminds me of many of the Black Sun Vigos, or the Trandoshan Hunt master.

Gamorreans have always been a highly lack luster piece, which is a shame, because I love these guys. I think we've got a good foundation for the Hutt Cartel sub faction, and with the help of some solid commanders to further bolster the gamarean guards, they seem to be shaping up to be competant. I'd still be afraid to run them against a Bastilla squad or anything that can shut down this guys CE, because once you remove the commander effects, Gamoreans are not capable for their price.
