so people like me ;) that are category one.. i am building a squad tonight (thanks for the kick in the pants Tim!).. I don't even know the difference between tier 1 2 and 3 squads.. i'm just gonna build one thats fun :)
So, unlike the last vassal with no rangeless CEs, this time you just can't have them in your squad, as opposed to effectively udpating the card text to being within 6 squares?
for instance, you just use a yoda that gives +3/+3,.. as opposed to ranging it +3/+3 within 6 squares..?

The characters are banned if they have anything not allowed in our rules list (including rangeless CEs).
Nothing is changed on any of the cards.
As far as "tiers", by all means build a fun squad, but feel free to build the best squad you can (not including the banned characters of course).
The GenCon veterans and others who placed high in big tournaments will get a handicap so to speak. They will get handed theme squads that are fun but not quite the best squad as far as strength.
So build a awesome squad to crush all these old pros.

Embarrassing All That Talk from a select few on how we NEEDED something like this and...Crickets. The "Competitive Team" stepped up, listened to people, and did something for us they really didn't have to do and Zip, Zero Nada! Where are our NZ Friends? Hone, Step up and get some of your people going on this!!! You played well in the Vassal Tourney and did fairly well in the NZ Nationals. (I was pulling for you) Get some of your guys on it!!!!

Let's not be hasty. I went out and sent bloomails, hit people up on Facebook, posted in other forums, called people out directly. (Which is what I have been imploring people to do for weeks, but nobody has before now). Numbers have shot up. Add to category 3: DarkDracul (Bryan H - Bastila-licious) AceAce (Mike G - the Vong Hammer) Dr Daman (Dave M - the NZ juggernaut) FlyingArrow (TJ dark lord of Aing-Tii) And add: HoneHeron Deaths_Baine That brings us to double digits (assuming the ones building their own squads come through)

For the record you probably need each person to include an email with registration since bloomail doesn't work very often.

Well if everyone who says they're "in"comes through, we'll have more then the GenCon championship (which to be fair was admittedly disappointing).
I would consider these numbers a big success for this.

Updated registration list of those signed up so far on page 1. I do need official info from many sent my way.
Also added to the info needed list: email. Just in case - sometimes bloomail sucks
as well as: Bloomilk name. (For some odd reason many of you have different names on skype, and here, and gamers, and vassal, etc - this is so that we all know who each of us is)
