Rd 1 vs Kyle and Jangalore Ig88 mira
He set up poorly and didn't realize with some doors open and such, that the lines were what they were, which lead to a failed FSM save in followed quickly by a Jangalore Furious, which lead to a dead Shea before she could do anything. Then lots of back an forth with pulse cannon trying to work its magic on my Jangalore. I got my 6th rd of gambit (putting me at 202) with my jangalore at 10hp, and cassus(damaged), cio, and Resurrected (half dead) left. We had some time so played it out for fun and without a lucky crit from Resurrecter he could have won (assuming we played until all dead instead of 200). 1-0 3pts

Rd 2 vs Etienne and his Seps
He brought in Blizz since an MTB doesn't do anything, and his San hill didn't do much either. I furioused in early and killed a bunch of his scrubs. He used Cad in a similar fashion to take out my scrubs. Then it was me winning alot of inits, going with jangalore and watching as his assajj didn't land a single hit on my jangalore. 2-0 6pts

Rd 3 vs Mike and his Tarpals powered grenades.
Super stealth, range 12 grenades. ho boy! I was 7/22 on grenades saves which was the story of the game. I did kill a ton of scrubs and held gambit long enough to get to 100 before I died a horrible death. 2-1 7pts

Rd 4 vs Shawn and his Seps with charging BHs
This game came down to a single init. He rolled 18, then looked over at my dice. It was on 19. CRazy stuff. My 10hp Jango then killed his Aurra and put 30 on his Assajj instead of dying before doing anything. That 90 damage was enough for me to work to finish off Shawn. 3-1 10pts

Finished 3rd in swiss (tied with Mike at 10pts)

Top 4 Rematch vs Mike.
For some reason, even though he had just beaten me on my map, when he won map roll, he chose his own. Much better for me. I rooted out Droopy before he could score a single round of gambit. Then I controlled the gambit room and kept moving in and out, playing "try and figure out a way to kill superstealth guys". Jango took out 3 on a furious before eating a healthy dose of grenades. I had a nice 3 enemy kill with FSM, and then later an FSM that took out 2 more. In the end, I made 12/24 grenade saves and had a 50HP Cassus, an almost dead kelborn and a 10 hp MAndo infiltrator left when I finished off mike's last guy.

Finals Rematch vs Etienne
Pretty much a replay of the first game, except I didn't let Cad get to all my scrubs, so he didn't make that particular exchange.


All in all, some great games, some close games, and a whole ton of fun at the dice dojo for the chicago regional.
