Adoption was commonly practiced among the Mandalorians. Known as gai bal manda (name and soul), it was a regular occurance for Mandalorians to adopt not only children but adults who sufficiently impressed them. This was not a lightly regarded thing, as Mandalorians took the health, welfare and succsess of their families extremely seriously(3).
However, despite this practice of inducting select outsiders into their family units, Mandalorian culture exibited a latent, almost xenophobic mistrust and contempt for outsiders that ran so deep that the word for "outsider" (aruetii) shared the same root as the word for traitor and enemy.

The question was asked Is there one word before on speeder bike and the answer was yes, but the question was not worded is there ONLY one word....

rules broken multiple times here. Come on folks. Counting is fundamental. I was more concerned with answering the question than I was with policing the core rules. schmi15 - asked question 7, then shouldn't have asked again until minimum 12, but asked on #11, then asked again on #14. Deaths_Baine asked on 8, then shouldn't have asked again until minimum 13, but asked on #12 Now Sithbot asked #13, and is now trying to ask #16.   I gotta say I love ya'lls enthusiasm. But . . . rules is rules. You slipped several by me. Not no more. If someone asks another question before 4 other members ask one - every one of their questions will be ignored. Also - unsolicited advice. Read each question carefully. You might be making this harder on yourselves by chasing a wild goose.

I'm out Check the first post - it's been the rule from the start. It's certainly not meant to punish anyone. This way more people can be involved. Otherwise 1 or 2 people ask all the questions.

Yeah - I missed that some questions were asked too quickly while responding on my phone. Anyway - I'm not "punishing" anybody. I am just making clear that I will not answer questions if they are asked too soon from now on. The ones that slipped past . . . slipped past. It really is intended to just get more people involved.
