I’ll echo the desire to see something solid said about Fringe’s status as a faction, but it would be great to also have specific guidance/exceptions stated for the interactions that have been brought up. Please don’t just give a binary yes/no and let everything else land however it will, that’s certain to break some intended interactions.
Thanks for all you folks do. Happy Thanksgiving!

I would suggest maybe looking at shien style also. Being able to avoid all damage even when your enemy is adjacent seems too strong for the base style. I think it should function more like soresu and SSM where if your opponent is adjacent you still have to take the damage on the base shien style. I am fine with Shien Mastery still working against adjacent opponents.

the darksaber should count as a lightsaber. After all, it is a lightsaber.

i suggest dropping Melee Duelist from Tulak Horde if anything were to be dropped. He is already incredibly hard to hit for any melee piece with SSM and Sith Reflexes, but when you combine his 21 def with Melee Duelist and have him with Darth Cognus (probably the most popular pairing) that becomes essentially a undisruptable 29 defense for a melee unit to try and overcome just to even hit. Even if a mini has the tools to deal with SSM and Sith Reflexes, a 29 defense is incredibly hard for people to hit when they don't have access to CE's because of his built in Distraction and also when he gives out Distraction to another sith beatstick.

rak warrior (specifically shooters with unpreventable damage). We have already nerfed suppressive fire and rigged detonators to some degree. Not sure it requires anything at this time, but certainly something to look at since it did very well in 2 high level tournaments in 2 very different squads.

can daala come back? with an activation limit and the restriction on the number of cannon shots, it might be worth some PT to see if she can make a return?

tulok. Not sure anything needs to change, but balance committee should at least take a peek.

fringe faction.
That would be something for the rules committee and not really the balance committee. I will bring this up with the rules committee as I think we have discussed this in the past.

double battle ready.
This would also be a rules committee question and I do not believe that they stack but rules committee should be poked.

Big rapports for big pieces are because the big piece sucks. If there are any Trooper types that get too cheap because of multiple -1 Rapports, just delete it off one of the offenders. Don’t re-ruin the terrible pieces that need multiple stacking Rapports to become even remotely palatable.
