Sure, read the glossary definition. Wink

Yes indeedily BlooMilk

"Any character whose name contains Covenant or has the Covenant Special Ability. Characters whose name contains Draay also are treated as if they had Covenant."

Makes Lucien a whooooooole lot better!

Oh wow... Didn't realize that. wish it had made it onto a card somewhere so it would be easier to remember/reference during play. But that works, easier than having to grant him covenant through an SA/CE.

Wow. didn't think we'd ever see strafe support after the lancer's domination. Basilisks are expensive, so i have no idea how competitive this is, but it certainly could be brutal, especially with some well place mice... swooping in for twin 40's. Nice to see the mandalorians get some tier 1 SA access.

Basilisks are pricey and don't have easy access to Pawn of the Dark Side, I think that is a good thing and a big plus for getting them a nice boost.

(the Cheapest Basilisk's can get Pawn with Mandalore is Mandalore+Ulic+Sidious+Basilisk. 4 pieces, 218 points.

Also, Huge may seem like an asset with Strafe. But it makes it far easier to hide from, due to Strafe's restrictions.

Since they are in the enemies square with strafe, it still counts as adjacent right?

Strafe Attacks actually happen before you enter the square, while you are still adjacent.

I want you to write an article titled "The 10 most frequently used rules that no one knows exists"

That might be a fun read. Smile

It should include carefully counting the squares a tow-cabled character moves when determining where it can end up. I'll bet a lot of people play that wrong. I know I tend to forget. RollEyes

No, that's the correct CE. Just remember he is replacing this guy:

Mandalore the Indomitable
Mando
Cost: 68
HP: 120 Def: 19 Atk: +13 Dam: 30
SA: Unique, Melee Attack, Double Attack, Evade, Momentum
CE: Mandalorian allies gain Momentum.

The CE is a bit stronger than that, sure. But it is only limited to Basilisks. Not going to have more than 1, 2 is the max in a 200 pt squad.

Still, do basilisk a really need the boost?

I've never actually played against one (which in itself is a probably an indication that they're not that strong a piece at the moment), but I imagine that while the attack and damage boost is helpful, they're unlikely to see much competitive action at 200 points because:
- it's hard to find a landing space for two huges.
- this guy plus a normal Basilisk is half your squad at 200 points.
