Thank you for the names, I'm very excited to see what these can do. Especially Luke and Urai. For a second I read Rattataki as Ratakan and my eyes got real big.

And before someone criticises, I think it's cool that there are two NR Lukes being sent out at the same time - the 100 point one is kind of niche anyway. Looking forward to seeing Luke Galactic Hero.

I agree 100%, and I think you have it exactly right, I think the 100 point one is niche in a way. I'm incredibly excited to see what Galactic Hero Luke is like.

knappskirata wrote:Well, boosting him is possible, and since there is strafe, there is no cover, and he gets +4 from indomitable on basilisk. As long as you have some good backup or door control, you can hide him well enough, depending on the map. But it's kind of the same with Yobuck. You have to hide him, and even with Master speed, it's not always easy to pull off. But it's possible, especially with the new Mando tech. While hiding your huge base Basillisk is indeed part of the equation, the bigger issue that Sithborg was trying to illustrate is the ease at which enemies can hide from it. Not being able to move back into the same square you came from while strafing is a really big deal for a huge base character. If you aren't entirely familiar with the movement restrictions for huge's look them up then break out a map and see where you are going to be able to hide from a strafing Basillisk. Kybuck w/ medium base is a night and day difference from this guy. Galloping Kybuck is attacking adjacents, strafers have to enter your square. If Kybuck can get to you you can't hide. If a Basillisk can get to me I'm not giving up my key pieces, they will be tucked away and then the Basillisk is going down quick.

Yup. Take one of my favorite maps: Spynet. You would think those long corridors would be perfect for Strafing. It only takes 4 figures to keep you from Strafing the hallways. Landing spots are surprisingly few and far between.

Is this for real? A lot of the abilities don't seem to fit?

I like him. Provides boosts to Force users to match his role as Master while keeping the quick, fluid fighting style we see in the Thrawn trilogy. But considering how long I've wanted a non-Master NR Luke, almost anything would have seemed good to me...

Hoooooooooooooooooooooooly crap I'm so excited. He is awesome! DARPH NADER wrote:Ronson wrote:Is this for real? A lot of the abilities don't seem to fit? I thought JH was a bit odd but I love his CE and so does CH, JM! I think Jedi Hunter makes a lot of sense, Luke spends a lot of time fighting Dark Jedi, they aren't always Sith and they aren't always Imperial. Heck they aren't always "Dark Jedi" but he fights a lot of Evil Force users. You could give him Sith Hunter, but then what about fighting his Joruus or the Emperor Reborn, you can give him Imp Hunter but what about Lumyia etc etc. As for Ataru, to me Luke mastered the Three Styles for the New Jedi Order based on the Three Styles he learned. Ataru (Fast Style,) from Yoda. Soresu (Medium Style,) From Obi-Wan. Djem-So (Strong Style,) From fighting Vader. So I think Ataru is an interesting, different choice that I really like. Synergy +2. Luke recruited, befriended, and interacted with a lot of random weird Force Users over the years, so I think him helping out Fringers is a cool idea. These are just my interpretations of abilities that may seem odd at first.

I too very much like both of the pieces and can't help but get a boyish smirk about Fen's ZC Decoy in conjunction with Cloaked. Luke and Corran sittin in a tree.... Perhaps we shall meet in person at the PA regional in April.
