While the raks have some great damage potential now (hitting for up to 50 damage), they still do have the problem of being a 17D/30HP piece with savage. The few times ive seen them on the map, they get slaughtered. They need access to charging or swap to really be of much use.

I ran a squad using Jakan High Priest, a major beat stick and a bunch of workers. It was all about sacrificing the workers so my beat could run all over the place getting into position for the next round to get odd some damage. It was pretty awesome stuff.

But good door control and thinking out your movement, you can do fine. And the spawning of new Rakghouls is much better. And Celeste now has the ultimate finisher, to finish off a near dead fig, to add a new Rakghoul. They can be pretty useful, but sadly, Mice are far more popular now than Ugnaughts or Rodians. They aren't easy, but I have had mild sucess with Rakghouls before Celeste, and am sure I will have plenty with her now.

I think the first instinct is to throw her and kun together for uber damage potential... but the points just arent there. I'm not sure who else you could add to a celeste/rak squad to to provide synergy. Maybe just a few pesky shooters or some body guards/draw fire.

We'll see what the Sith Wrangler does... he might bring some goodness to the possibilty of the "Mourning Exar" squad. Yes, I just named it. Woot!

I'd say forget the Rakghouls in the base squad. Use her with the Leviathon, or maybe a few Bomas. Use her Sith Alchemy to spawn Rakghouls. Use some of the other Sith/Fringe options to support Morne.
If you wanted to use Exar and Morne, I would say the same thing, forget about Raks in the base squad, use Morne to spawn them, who then are quite deadly.

How about using Celeste in a rebel squad with Chewbacca Enraged Wookie? You could also use Luke to Levitate a Rakgoul into position then?

The big thing is to just keep him pretty far back away from everyone else. Yet with Celeste, he'll be +14 for 50 Damage from 12 squares away which can be pretty awesome. That'll hopefully allow her to use Sith Alchemy 2.

On that Polish site (http://www.gwiezdne-wojny.pl/news.php?13431,rogues-renegades-preview-2.html), is the flavour text on Mace official?

"RM - that Mace from the final set. It sucked so bad I can't even remember its name." - Grand Moff Boris It appears to be an earlier draft, not the finalized version. And, umm, oops?

That is definitely not the finalized version. We had a lot of trouble deciding on the flavor text and Les, who creates the cards, decided to have some fun and create this card. Plus that card does not have the finalized version of Vaapad Style Mastery, that was the first draft of the ability we wrote. No clue how the Polish site got that image as I don't think we even released the image of Mace to anyone. Anyone have a clue where they got their cards from?

Maybe one of Julian Assange's cohorts is a minis player.

Put in atris, an echani or 2 and let the rackgouls spawn. that way youve got your shooters enough points for tech and support, and melee attackers when needed
