At least it is only cards that have actually been previewed. The whole set isn't spoiled.

Oh dear yeah. That is probably not good.

I'm doubting the validity of there spoiled pieces. I hold no judgment until SWMGamers releases the stats... seeing as there mace windu was a beta version, god knows what is correct on their other stats.

I did a search and didn't find everything but did find a couple other pieces that haven't been spoiled yet. Google translator says:

"Time for another dose of announcement cards fanowskiego addition to the Star Wars Miniatures titled "Rogues & Renegades." This v-set is prepared by an international committee of players affiliated to SWMGamers.com . Among the authors there is also a Polish representative, through whom we have access to "the best kept secrets" of the committee. "

I guess it's a link to forums on a different site, but none-the-less the cards(early drafts at least) are accessible through that site.

I don't think it's that severe, but it does appear that someone violated the trust given them.

It's only a game, but that said it's too bad that people can't resist spoiling everything.

I'm not going to look this time. We have full stats for about 1/2 of the set with less than 2 months to release, and I want to be surprised by some of what is coming. Smile

I also want to say to everyone - out of respect to the designers, do NOT post links here to the full set spoilers, they will be removed.

If members want to go search themselves, that is their prerogative.

Back to the officially spoiled stats.

I am not a big fan of Celeste Morne (as a character), but based on what I know about her I think the designers did a fantastic job! We finally get enhanced viability out of Rakghouls, Savage pieces get boosted and she is a solid melee piece in her own right. This will be a fun piece to play and might make me a fan of the character yet!

Kudos to the design team!

I wasn't a fan of her, or vector for that matter... i kinda felt like it was a scam to make their readers pick up other star wars comics they may not normally have been interested in (which it was).

That being said, i think she fits her comicbook representation post muur talisman. I think she also has a lot of value, being the second mini we've ever seen who can natively give CE's to Savage characters. Added bonus on the fact that she is factionless. I think she gets an A+ for theme, fun, and competitiveness. Couldn't ask for more.

It wasn't a scam, just a crossover. Most companies do crossovers all the time and it's difficult to do one in Star Wars since the comics all cover different time periods. So this was basically just to make use of the common crossover in a unique way.

I thought the plan was to release all the stats of the new set in a PDF weeks before GenCon so the everyone has a chance to check out the new set before the GenCon tournaments. And that at the show, the real print copies become available.

Did that change? Did I imagine that? Are the testing teams going to be the only people who know all the stats going into these tourneys?

Since I thought this was still happening, I don't really think a leak of outdated data for 1/2 the set is really a big deal.

Is R&R legal for GenCon? I thought it was being released at GenCon.

R&R is not legal for GenCon, just like it was for all other sets from WotC. Right now, the only way you can play R&R at GenCon is through non-sanctioned games and the sealed.

That is definitely not the finalized version. We had a lot of trouble deciding on the flavor text and Les, who creates the cards, decided to have some fun and create this card. Plus that card does not have the finalized version of Vaapad Style Mastery, that was the first draft of the ability we wrote. No clue how the Polish site got that image as I don't think we even released the image of Mace to anyone. Anyone have a clue where they got their cards from?

What is the finalized version of Vaapad Style Mastery?

"Score critical hits on an attack roll of 17 or higher and deals triple damage instead of double on a critical hit."

That's what the first post of this thread has, and that's what is on the card. Has it changed?

The final version does the same yet it just clarifies things a bit more.

I couldn't help it. Of course I looked. A lot of good stuff, although I have to admit that I'm hoping Saul Karath and Carth both have facelifts before the final versions.

I don't want to divert from the main coversation, though. I look forward to seeing the final versions.

Now, back to Celeste...

Hey guys, I have removed the link to the Polish site that I found. I had no idea that all of the cards were spoiled there until I checked this thread a few minutes ago. I was legitimately seaching for the actual preview and thought that was it, regardless I apologize to the design team and anyone who saw more than they wanted.

I believe this is the final wording for Vaapad Style Mastery: (my emphasis)

This character scores a critical hit on an attack roll of natural 17 or higher and deals triple damage on a critical hit instead of double.

Back to Celeste:

with Ganner and a po'd Kyp Durron sounds fun.
