The last time we saw a unit that was like an artillery piece the Catapult could be was 12 sets ago, and are seldom used outside of scenario play, so yeah not the typical Fringer we'd be accustomed to seeing.

Its my belief that our ingenuity is better than WOTC's 12 sets ago.

Exactly. Some might believe that such pieces would be limited to Scenario play like the old ones and thus view them as a waste, unsuitable for regular skirmish play.

Just brain storming as an example of how a artillery piece could be useful:

Ewok Catapult
Size huge
Hit Points: 50
Defense: 14
Attack: 6
Damage: 40

Special Abilities
Heavy Weapon (Can't attack and move in the same turn)
Swarm +1 (+1 Attack against a target for each allied Ewok adjacent to that target)
Warning Call (Allies need to only roll a save of 6 to avoid this characters abilities.)
Splash 40 (If this character's attack hits, all characters adjacent to the target take 40 damage; save 11. If the attack misses, the target and all adjacent characters take 40 damage; save 11.)
Fortification (Setup on your half of the battle map.)
Speed 2 (Can move only 2 squares and attack, or 4 squares without attacking)

Or if you really wanna get crazy with mechanics, give it zero speed and :
Transportable: Adjacent allied ewoks can target this character as though they had Greater Lift. Ignore size restrictions.

If you really wanna make people love you:
Camaradarie: Characters named C3PO, Ewok Deity gain Transportable.

Bam, two problems solved in one.

At first glance, its great! I'm sure the design team would disagree though.
It is worth it alone for the C3P0 fix!

22 have voted so far. 3 more days of voting to go. Only 4 votes separate the top from the bottom. Anything is still very much possible.

UrbanShmi, DarthBane53, Flying Arrow, kezzamachine, AndyHatton, fett19, saber1, Azvander, General Grievious and myself have not voted yet, as they participated in the last vote, very good chance they will vote again. Also voting is open to anyone else as well. That is enough of an unknown to swing this vote any which way, its still possible anything could happen.

Only a couple of wild cards and whatever random voters we can attract in the next couple of days. Calling all Octonauts!

Final day for voting. Tight, tight race all around. The next person who votes will be deciding the winner, no pressure.

We've been going midnight Eastern for the previous ones. If anyone is waiting to vote at the last minute, don't, just vote! If any votes come in overnight they will not be discounted but the thread will be requested to be locked tomorrow morning. With such a tight race and the weight of this vote, we can't stand on technicalities. 2 clear winners are what we need.

If anyone wants to go back and change their votes, I'll just remind everyone again, to please quote your original post so that it is clear you are doing so.

Looks like it might be the sarlacc and trandoshan. These were my second and 3rd picks, so, i'm crossing my fingers.

We are locked in now. I thought Team Captain/Huntmaster was going to take it all. Somehow that loveable worm made it through to the top on all 3 votes. Couldn't have been closer. Voter turn out of 30, which isn't too shabby. Now we need to finalize names and choose recommended mini, then we can start talking about concepts and stats.

Trandoshan Huntmaster

From thisthread, I guess. Interesting stuff in there. Official discussions, need to take place in the threads over on Gamers. This thread is more OTR.
