Lord_Ball's Obi-Wan Kenobi, Geonosis Gladiator: I like the Republic Jedi Reserves 30 on him and recon is very flavorful. I personally would like him to have a stronger CE since he only costs 13 less than GOWK and they must be adjacent to get the bonus. I do like the CE's idea though Sense the Future can help with reserves however I can't remember him being a Prophetic type Jedi (like Luke, Yoda, ect) though I do remember the beginning of episode 1. (and Qui-gon should've never had Sense the Future/Anticipation so it's better on Obi-wan) 8 CorranHornsux123's Obi-wan Kenobi, Jedi Knight Escort: Lightsaber Protection is good work! Tactician? Yes please! This Obi-wan really brings his Bodyguard skills out nicely. Though my main problem with this character is that you represent him during his training with Qui-Gon Jinn AND gave him Soresu Style. I don't think he really began investing himself in Soresu until after Qui-Gon's death. However it does fit the characters intent and can easily be explained by saying that this very covers a larger time frame (notice he is a Jedi KNIGHT Escort) overall I give you a 9 Cassus fett's Obi Wan Kenobi, General of Munnilist:Mount Up and Arc Troopers Deploy are good boosts. Twin with Master Speed gives him a good striking range. Synergy still needs changed to Camaraderie (regardless of your personal thoughts on which name the SA should have) so that is gonna effect your score. Known Enemy would have probably been better at +4/10 IMO. 7 CerousMutor's Obi-Wan Kenobi, Protector of the Force: Protectorate is better now though in my opinion it isn't quite done yet but does have the makings of a great SA. Protective Assault and Jedi Mind Trick 3 are good. Order 66 Survivor is a Grade-A SA (good work AndyHatton!) I may have some scruples with the high starting FP count + renewal 1. (though his high cost helps balance that) This guy is great against swarms, but since he is now mainly a rebel piece with Republic Affinity he loses some favor. 8 AndyHatton's Obi-Wan Kenobi, Hero of Mustafar: I personally think you captured Mustafar Obi-wan extremely well! I also really like Order 66 Survivor, as for Vader Hunter it does work better than Sith Hunter. His max damage is pretty circumstantial but Obi was more of a defensive fighter anyway. I kinda do have a problem with Obi-wan having Renewal 2 since I don't believe he was THAT strong in the Force (IMO) This guy could be quite nasty in the Rebels with Evade +Soresu Mastery. 10 Saber1's Obi-Wan Kenobi, Unwitting Harbinger of Doom: very funny character brings alot of flavor to the table. More of a fun piece then a serious entry, still he is the most Unique Obi-wan here 9 FlyingArrow's Obi-Wan Kenobi, Defender: Very interesting Character! Seems you and me had a lot of similar Ideas for obi-wan. Like Draw Fire, Lightsaber Combat Expert, and a single attack. (since he will be focusing more on defending) I really like this character and thinks he deserves a 10 Robobob's Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi Infiltrator: Love his flavor text and CE! Now all Jedi Followers can get evade with the Bith BSV. I no longer think he is over costed, I personally think he should get Recon to go with the Infiltrator theme but still great nonetheless. Welcome to my reserves squad Obi-wan! 10 harryg's Obi Wan Kenobi, Jedi Duelist: I can't seem to get over Djem-so and Mighty Swing! These are just not Obi-wan SA's! The Camaraderie is fine, but there is to much emphasis on attacking for Obi-wan! Not to mention Lightsaber Duelist (which fits with the name) with 23 defense!? just No 6 Very Extremely difficult and tough to decide between Robobob's Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi Infiltrator, FlyingArrow's Obi-Wan Kenobi, Defender and AndyHatton's Obi-Wan Kenobi, Hero of Mustafar. They all add a great new function for Obi-Wan (besides GOWKS CE/Soresu Mastey) and are all excellent work! In the end I'm gonna go with FlyingArrow's Obi-Wan Kenobi, Defender

My vote goes to Jedi Knight Escort by CorranHornsux123! Great custom, cool abilities, even if not perfectly balanced. Close honorable-mentions were: LB's Geonosis Gladiator FlyingArrow's Kenobi, Defender Robobob's Jedi Infiltrator Several great entries guys!

Obi-Wan Kenobi, Geonosis Gladiator by Lord_Ball I like Recon and the Reserves, not crazy about the CE but I do like the overall flavor. 8 Obi-wan Kenobi, Jedi Knight Escort by CorranHornsux123 Really really like Lightsaber Protection and Aggressive Negotiations as well as his host of other abilities. 10 Obi Wan Kenobi, General of Munnilist by Cassus Fett. Synergy doesn't work like that and I think the boost for Fordo is too powerful, and I think that Known Enemy could just be "Durge Hunter," and I'm not quite sure that it fits Obi-Wan. I think you could switch the CE and Mount Up so that Mount Up is the CE and the CE is an SA. 7 Obi-Wan Kenobi, Protector of the Force by CerousMutor Order66 Survivor is awesome! I like a lot of the flavory abilities and how well he works in either Rebels or Republic, I do think starting with 4 Force is a bit high. 8 Obi-Wan Kenobi, Hero of Mustafar by me Obi-Wan Kenobi, Unwitting Harbinger of Doom by Saber1 Burning Attacks is awesome on a Kenobi! 9 Obi-Wan Kenobi, Defender by FlyingArrow I really like focus on an Obi-Wan we don't know much about and the focus on the defensive abilities he picked up after Qui-Gon died, and Counter Push is an awesome power I'd hoped we would see more of after its introduction 10 Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi Infiltrator by Robobob I like the CE, most Jedi deserve stealth though I'm still not sure how I feel about Sub-Space Transceiver. 8 Obi Wan Kenobi, Jedi Duelist by harryg too powerful and a suite of abilities that just don't feel very Kenobish to me. 6 Obi-Wan Kenobi, Hero of THAT Deleted Scene by the Hutts I think the next Mini-set should just be heroes of THAT Deleted scene pieces! Obi-wan Kenobi, Jedi Knight by Deathwielded Unlock Door is an ability that all Jedi should just HAVE. I like all of the abilities though am a bit hesitant of Ataru Style Mastery on Obi-Wan and what it can do here. 9 Tough call but I'm going to go with FlyingArrow this week!

Wow i'm sorry but, Dude that's pretty shallow you shouldn't let personal biases affect scores.

Wow i'm sorry but, Dude that's pretty shallow you shouldn't let personal biases affect scores. Hmm, I sorry MY personal biases? You are the one who is going against the grain with your personal belief that Synergy better fits what Camaraderie does. (I am just one of three guys who told you this) Synergy has always been for Stats ONLY in SWminis. If you were to switch the words Parkway and Driveway to mean what you believe they should on a written exam, you would get a lower score for using an incorrect word.

corranhorn wrote:Obi-Wan Kenobi, Geonosis Gladiator by Lord_Ball - Seems really dull and I don't see much Geonosis flavor. Balanced, I suppose. 6 I feel like you missed the point of the piece. You're entitled to your opinion, but I will explain some potentially overlooked Geonosis Flavor. First the obvious ones - Recon (mission goal), Jedi Reserves (due to him having Anakin relay the message to the Jedi Temple). Less obvious lack of Stealth (he was caught easily), and Sense the Future (a nice way to mess up - or nearly mess up, some plans much like what happens in the movie). The rest of the abilities are more oriented to the actual battle inside the arena (and are admittedly somewhat "generic") so he has a lightsaber, and as obi-wan does helps and protects (CE + signature Force Heal) others if he can and a well rounded defense to help him survive the battle (Soresu + Block). There's other approaches that would obviously fit more to your thoughts, but Geonosis flavor is there if you think about it.
