I finished seventh in Timth place and was running Rebels with Luke HOE, Kyle RH, Jan Ors, Mira of NS, reeikan, Dodonna, Lando infiltrator, and Artoo and See-threepio. Lou who I smashed in swiss bumped me out of the playoffs after I failed to score any points in my last two games against Etienne and Deri in that order. Lou was running Cin, Sera, and Quinlan, with Yobuck in there as well. Great day of awesome games with awesome people ad was especially nice to meet Paul Moore who gets a vote from m!even for next year's HOF nominations for being a hell of a nice guy, a great competitor, and also for making the longest trip to play minis that I've ever heard of!

Seriously though, congrats Etienne! 😎 Well I'm glad someone else finally said what needs said lol.  Atm you sir are the best daala player in the world an done of the top players with anything. Congrats man you deserve this. I can't wait to see your gencon design piece man.

And seriously, I can't wait to read the write-up about the semi-finals match! When I first saw the semi-final pairings I immediately thought we'd almost surely see Jangalore in the final, because he's so strong vs Daala. How did a bunch of Daala scrubs ever take down Jangalore? That would've been a great game to watch, regardless. And since Etienne managed to overcome that matchup, I think he deserves extra respect. But I think Dr.Daman in New Zealand probably still deserves to hold the title as the best Daala player in the world. He has won numerous events with Daala, and there is some very strong competition over in NZ too (as we know from their Vassal performance).

It was great meeting you Paul!!! You are a great opponent and seriously every game against you is a blast. Couldn't have had a closer semi finals match with a 4 point difference. Hopefully this isn't the last time we meet the the Gencon Championship :)
