cicrush, I think you should be more clear on how the random boosters will be assigned.

I am still trying to figure out the probablity of some of what I'd like to do, but basically roll a dice. I would take a d20 and roll it. If a player won their match, there would be a corresponding number (1-20) to a booster pack. What I need to figure out is which # goes to which pack for a winner and which goes to which for a loser in order to give the loser a better chance of getting a "newer" booster pack. There is a chance that a winner could get one, but def less of a chance that a loser. And a loser could get an older pack since they still have a slight chance for that.

***Note: A player will not receive a booster with a duplicate R/VR figure at all. Different variations of figures will be sent (Vader, JH and Vader LOTF could be in the same collection).

I think you should just do a random die; both winner and loser have an equal chance of pulling whatever. the rigged balance makes sense; but in the original BMBL somepeople lost on purpose (in a way) to get a good booster. And since everyone gets into the post season anyways; might as well get loses and get some really good boosters (hopefully) to win the tourney. Thats what happened to me last year if any of you remember the BMBL; LOL.

still having problems loading DOTF.

Here's what I get:

The file 'C:\Documents and Settings\Steve\Desktop\Vassal\SWMinis_8-1_ext\SWMinis_ext\DotF.mdx' is not a valid VASSAL module

ok schedule for week 1 (starting Sun April 17) is as follows (you will get a BM too)

Week 1
cicrush13 vs R5Don4
darthbane53 vs Terrance Withers
demosthenes vs segastorm
crème_brule BYE

Unless another player joins there will be one person each week with a BYE.

As to the booster selection: each booster will be given a # from 1-16 and random #'s will be generated to select each person's booster. So essentially everyone has a chance at any booster whether they won or lost.
