It worked like Crab Armor, so we used that to make this. It's a small abstraction, but should be simple and fun. You never know when you will roll that dreaded 1 :) Woah! Awesome piece... A solid beatstick... Just what the Vong needed...

I ran the new Mace in a casual 200 point game the other night - I used a squad with General Skywalker and Commander Ahsoka, so he was a bit of a tank. The best moment was when he took down a full health Jarael in one hit - he critted with momentum, so 70 points of damage, and she failed her parry and had already used a force point fending off his previous attack.
I'm interested to see if he has a place in the meta. With double riposte, he's certainly good Lancer defense. I even wonder if it'd be possible to get some good swapping and healing squads going around him.

It was Nom and his Bombs with a fire breather and 2 Ossus Guardians. I should maybe have had a shooter in there, but it was epic. His flamethrower is brilliant and VCA2 is incredible, meaning this guy effectively has double HP. Your opponent;s shooters are going to be wasting a lot of shots trying to take this guy down while you position your bombs for the kill.

I was curious about the percentages for a booster league, so I ran the numbers for R&R. I thought I'd share them in case anyone else cares. (I assumed 1 booster in 3 would receive a VR.)
12 VRs - probability of getting a particular VR is 2.8% 18 Rs - probability of getting a particular R is 3.7% 12 Us - probability of getting a particular uncommon is 16.7% 18 Cs - probability of getting a particular common is 22.2%

Agreed. Vong can still be one of the scariest factions to face esp with the new figs that are coming out!

Does Weir give Storm Commando's Twin? I've seen that somewhere but its not on the main thingee. Did that change or did I dream it?

Hi I got a question to the following mini.
59. Yuuzhan Vong Firebreather cost 46 HP 140 Def 16 Att +6 Dmg 10
Melee Savage Charging Assault +10 Fireproof (Immune to Flamethrower) Flamethrower 40 Indiscriminate Overwhelming Power (damage from this character's attacks cannot be prevented or redirected) Twin Attack Vonduun Crab Armor 2
I got the feeling the Yuuzhan Vong Firebreather total useless. If I'm right, he never can use the Flamethrower 40. With Savage + Charging Assault +10 he has always to move to the enemy and attack him. Isn't it the same like Kyp and his Push ?

It's why he has Fireproof, so he can use Flamethrower while adjacent. There will be situations where you will be able to use Flamethrower without being adjacent, though.
He is not super useful. He can take a lot of damage, but there is a whole lot you can do to keep it from doing much damage. Flamethrower 40 is nice you can get it off, which is difficult for you to do, and a bit easy for the opponent to prevent.
