How about a solid shooter for the Old Reps, and a solid Rock piece as well. As is the faction is not competitive and that is a killer for me.

If I may make a suggestion for a subset, the Infiltration of Jabba's Palace. It could update some lackluster pieces, specifically Han in Carbonite, Leia, BH or Captive, Tamtel Skreej, And Bib Fortuna.
Also Han Solo, Hero of Yavin (another solid non-commander shooter...maybe an update to Han Scoundrel)
A new Rebel Wedge to go with new Biggs (I'm on a Rebel Kick lately)

More sub-faction characters for Black Sun, Zann Corp, Chiss, Lost Tribe,
New Sub-factions such as Katarn Commandos, Rogue & Wraith Squadron (unique). Smugglers Alliance
A few more mid 20-30 non-unique Jedi for fringe
A generic Hutt.
New races such as Charon.
Any major characters not seen yet such as Yasanne Isard, Kira Holt, as examples
New versions for Talon Karrde, or any WOTC unique minis we only ever got 1 of.

Obsession: At the beginning of the skirmish, choose an enemy. This character may ignore cover and adjacent enemies when targeting the chosen enemy. If the chosen enemy is targeted when not adjacent, adjacent enemies may make an attack of opportunity against this character at the end the turn.
Super-accurate shot versus one enemy. Ignore adjacent characters, but suffer attacks of opportunity if you do.

A way for the Rebels to boost their CE and SA range. Not necessarily boardwide, but maybe something like the Mando Technician but for SAs as well.

Set Harth: Fringe piece with Transfer Essence (about 50+ points) with non-Melee and Rival (May not be in a squad with any character whose name contains "Darth.")

Haha I was recently playing that game and I would love to see some more units from it: Zann Consortium Mercenary (evade, careful shot, accurate shot, mercenary and cheap) Zann Consortium Grenadier (stun motor of longer range grenades) And someone to let them bring Destroyer Droids into the fringe

I was simply curious so I inquired. I was not making fun of his requests. I think the OR are very competitive as is and was curious as to why he felt they weren't. There was no offense meant.
