@Lily Wan What did you use to make The Revanchist? Him and your Mando BH look awesome.

@Azman What did you use for Supremem Overlord Shimrra? And I love your Jaina, But I see someone beat me to that question.

@kamikaze

Thanks for the compliment!
My Revanchist:
-Aqualish Spy legs, including the belt
-Dark Jedi body, remove the left arm, right hand and head, glue-fill ridges on back
-Attach TIE Pilot's left arm, Zabrak Fringer's right hand
-Dark Side Adept head, carve out face and glue in OR Captain's face
-prime, paint, add lightsaber and I think that's it.

@ Kamikaze13

I started with HorrorClix Agony left over parts from Nen creation for the spikes; Dreamblade Nevret Screamtrooper; and the Praetoriate Vong Warrior.

I cut the Vong Warrior off at the knees to maintain the armor look from the knee down. I did the same to the Nevret along with shaving the Nevret to make the final head shape. I took the Vong warrior and parred off the body plates and glued them to the Nevret (did require preparing the location on the Nevret prior to gluing). I used the thigh pads, shoulder pads, the glutes and breast plates from the Warrior. I used Agony's pieces for the added spikes. I used the head of the amphistaff from the warrior. The Nevret is holding a staff already so it was a matter of attaching the warriors staff to the Nevret's. Everything else is painting. I use a very fine sewing pin to paint the details.

Shimmra is 2 heroclix, and a vong weapon

Saurian trooper (cut off hands)
Blastaar (think ??..yellow, clawed hands) cut off hands and wrist bands

Join the two, add weapon

repaint, rebase

Thanks on jaina

Lily, do you need me to add individual pictures to this thread to add mine, or is the link enough?

I think if any single thread could be voted thread of the year, this one would get my vote. The work here if fantastic and really shows what can be done creatively with customs miniatures, from simple sand-ins (like my Lt. Page) to repaints to totally new creations.

Really looking forward to seeing everyones Vset2 minis.

Question: why?

I'm all for customs, especially for some characters, but I do feel that customizing can be taken too far (such as a particular Darth Revan being cut up on Gamers Scared ) and unnecessarily cut up a valuable piece. But hey, it's your piece, and if you like it better that way, then great for you.

Just for fun.

My CS Ki-adi remains safely in his box.

I traded a spare..... $9 to buy at auggies ... easily the most expensive piece i have used.

Mostly use $1-$5 minis. And mostly spares i already have .

Thats why my Destroyer droids will remain CS versions.
