Plagiarized isint the word, as my mum says, copying is the best form of flattery, im sure most peoples ideas spawn off others peoples customs. And I was thinking you lived in northern orlando near kissimiee. Thats only an hour south from me.

I was under the impression that you were near the Tampa Bay area that was near the 4 hour mark. Granted, I was going by a Meetup Group for game store up there. Which, when I entered in the information, was 4 hours. That's not that bad then.

God bless you gentlemen for thinking 4 hours is worth it BigGrin

My local group meets every thursday night at a MacDonalds 35 miles/1 hour away; too far for a game on a school night ThumbDown But we also play once in awhile about 7-8 miles away on saturdays. I remember my single days when I'd drive anywhere for a D&D game ThumbsUp Such is married middle-aged life!

Well, I am middle aged but have no one in FL to play with. I am willing to travel within reason. 4 hours driving in FL isn't a possiblity. 45-1 hour isn't bad.

Thank you. The Jerec, thankfully, used up a Count Dooku that I had NO idea what to do with. Thankfully, I saw his image and realized "Bingo!" that will work. I still have a few more I am working on. Splitting between Vengeance and TOR.

Liked the Kaliyo and Var Suthra piece. Kaliyo was already on my list of To Do cards. Var has now been added. A Heroclix Shield mini with a Mon Cal head for Var?

Yes on the Var. but, I would suggest either Nick Fury or even General Calrissian, Rebel Leader. I didn't have a spare either. Also, the Lando has less abs :)

I am working on a Khem Val but he is being a bit... Unruly.

Have you looked at/tried a D&D Bloodhulk Fighter? That's what I used for a my Dashade figure. I also seem to recall making a card for him, "Khem Val, the Shadow Killer" but heck if I can remember whether I posted it. BigGrin That's what I get for not posting all my "Pics" in my first post like you did and just updating it with remarks at the end.Blushing

I am more or less trying to whittle away at a T'surr and have him down the bare essence. It's the sword I am having problem with. I want to go ransack a FF7 Cloud figure for his Buster Sword but, I am almost there. I just have to carve.

Thanks for the kind words.

Pimp Hand of the Emperor was brought up due to someone on WotC wanting a parody set of Minis like Magic. It got me thinking so I had a few pop up. I have another that I want to do but unsure HOW to do it. Although, I do have an idea due to a HorrorClix I found. I call it the "Imperial Indignitary." I just need to find all the pieces (involves a lamp shade and bent golf club).

Kasim was just a random conversation with a friend of mine prior to leaving VA. He brought up Kasim as one he wanted to work on but didn't know how to proceed. I had an idea when I saw a bag of random HeroClix my GF gave me. So, I diced up an Aquaman and used Aqua's head to make a Corran Horn. Such gruesome work, minimaking.

I have a few more to toss up soon as well as better photos. I just need some time to do the right thing and put them up. I have a Khem Var and Vegeance's Foul Moudamma along with a few that need to be reposted due to minor tweaks. Most notably Tyber Zann and his wing man.

Anyway, let me know if and when to find a way to play sometime. I am so out of practice.

Your mini making skills are advanced! Truly, you are one of the greats
The cuts are seemless where you reposition the figures; the paintwork sets the bar and is very clean and well formed (im saying the details stay in the lines, and there is well developed tonal graduation).
I hope you continue the great work BigGrin

I concur; nice quality. Wish my hand was still that steady.

Thank you. I am still learning on the green stuff/gray stuff area. I still need to work on some of my dry brush a bit.

I appreciate this but I think this might be a bit of a stretch. I look at Lily_Wan's and (when he did them) Eurletho's stuff and I still have a way to go. Lily does a lot with just the basic colors and I go out and buy the shades when I need them. In this game, you can't go wrong with barn red. Most useful color in this game. :)

The seams are more in line with the fact that my iPhone doesn't take the greatest pictures. I am sure if I upped the MP count, you would see more cut marks than Cher's face on a HDTV.

Tonal Gradation? Um.. let me look that up in the wikipedia so I know what you are talkingabout. I thought I had my tonals taken out when I was a kid due to numerous sore throats. :) Though I get your drift. Not bad for a guy that never did well in art class and seemed to always have trouble with "hand turkeys."

Thank you very much. I keep hoping I get good feedback when I do this. I am not a war gamer so I don't have any other avenues to express this.

As for the steady hand (in a second post): I think the game of Operation (the goofy game for dopey doctors) may say other wise. Wrenched ankle my backside. It's just easier to turn the sucker upside down and let the pieces fall where they may.
