I'd like to see more environmental pieces and pieces that can interacted with... shield generators, computer terminals, bacta dispersers, lifts/elevators(!?). A lift could maybe allow "thrawn swapish mechanics" between two lift units. Bacta Dispesors (which can be used in conjunction with the bacta tank!). Maybe they won't ever see competitive play, but it makes themed squads and scenarios much more fun. I also think with the V-sets ingenuity, they could maybe even be competitive in the right build.
+1. This type of thing is definitely worth exploring.

Also, to add to what I posted above, Gungan Batman Clone just posted this custom. I think it's brilliant: Taun Taun 7 Hit Points: 30 Defense: 17 Attack: 0 Damage: 0 Rarity: Common Base: Large Melee Attack (Can attack only adjacent enemies) Mount (This character can transport 1 Small or Medium ally who ends their move adjacent to it. Remove that ally from the battle grid; they move simultaneously with this character, have cover, and are considered adjacent to it. They can make attacks, counting distance from this character. A transported ally can return to the battle grid immediately before your first activation of the round. If this character is defeated, the transported ally is also defeated; save 6.) Speed 8 (Can move up to 8 squares and attack, or 16 squares without attacking)

I would like to see "trooper squad" pieces. These pieces would be large or huge size depending on the unit. They would represent a whole squad of troopers. The benefit of this is that the pieces would be hardier then a normal trooper piece, making them more feasible in competitive play as they could potentially survive gallops/strafes at the higher point cost. They could help speed up play if you made the loss of activations from taking a squad over multiple troopers worth it with decent stats and SAs... or you could even use a At-At style ability to stagger their activation in multiple ones, if you want to get fancy. A simple example:
Stormtrooper Squad Size: large (2x2) Cost 15 HP: 50 Atk:+10 Def: 16 Damage: 10 Triple Attack Splash

One activation for moving and one activation for attacking. Staggered Activation 2: Activates 2 times per round; each activation counts as 1 of your 2 activations in a phase. Each round, this character may only move during one of its 2 activations in a round.

Thanks, it doesn't just have to be a Taun Taun however, you could do a Kaadu or some other exciting creature. Anyway it is one of my better customs

But then again there have been so many cool new additions: Zilo Beast Zombies Savage Opress/Maul reboot Father/Son/Daughter Those crazy Umbarian guys from last season New troopers (flamethrowers!!) And many more cool new added things to the universe. Here is hoping for more new and less messing up old. Also on that note all of the above I just mentioned... Except maybe a Zilo beast hatchling.

Love it! I'd like to see this as well: Death Watch Soldier Cost: 20 Faction: Mandalorian Proxy Piece: Boba Fett, Enforcer Hit Points: 50 Defense: 17 Attack: 8 Damage: 20 Special AbilitiesFlight (Ignores difficult terrain, enemy characters, low objects, and pits when moving) Mobile Attack (Can move both before and after attacking) Flamethrower 20 (Replaces attacks: range 6; 20 damage to target and to each character adjacent to that target) Improved Missiles 20 (Replaces attacks, sight: 20 damage to target and to each character adjacent to that target; save 16) Deadly Attack (Scores a critical hit on an attack roll of natural 19 or 20) Vicious Attack (Triple damage instead of double on a critical hit) Ruthless (Critical hits from this character cannot be prevented or redirected)

At this time, I would like to nominate General Grievous' custom, the Pilot Battle Droid. I believe that his design accurately depicts the pilot battle droid while also making it useful in the curent meta. http://www.bloomilk.com/Custom/12837/pilot-battle-droidFurthermore, I would like to suggest that the Buzz Droid custom would be an excellent inclusion in the next virtual set. I must sadly admit that this is shameless self-endorsement on my part, but I feel that it is justified under the current circumstance. http://www.bloomilk.com/Custom/12763/buzz-droid

Price may need to be adjusted. I based it off of the bacta tank, though unlike the bacta tank who has Life Support, this people really cant do much other than activate and potentially collect gambit unless another external special ability is being triggered.

-1 to this idea. That scomp link idea has bad news written all over it. Lock out victories are a NPE of many people, override is so powerful as it is this just makes it a ton more powerful. And makes lockout victories more likely to occur. I could go on forever with all the negative effects this would bring to the game but to avoid getting all worked up, I'm stopping now.

"Jax Pavan who?" +1 to both comments here. Me and my son were wondering what other inconsistencies will the CW series create. Almost time to start the Ahsoka fate poll.

I wish you would specify as to not turn people off to.the idea I was trying to sell based on my inability to actually design a balanced example. That is the vsets designers job, and I stand by my thought that it is a good idea, perhaps just not with a balanced example.

My area concern is specific to Scomp Link and the potential negative impact of a zero LoS Override could bring to the game. The concept of more interactive tech pieces could & may be an interesting angle for future development & design.
