Hey, um, which Korriban map on Vassal is the one for our battle? I can't tell for sure which one is WotC and which one is Jedicartographer. There's one called 'Korriban (MP 2)' and there's one just called 'Korriban.'

-Incoming Transmission from Ando-
"Greetings Rebel High Command and Marshal Spry. I am happy to report our mission to Ando was a success. We met with Ponda Baba and handled the droid armies that came to challenge us but not without a lot of furry balls of fire. Nute Gunray led a squad of Commando Droids along with their Officer and Captain to Ando where he was met with a force of Wookiees, Rodians, and Echani led by our newest ally Talon Karrde. Nute Gunray summoned a BX Spotter Droid to aid the campaign as a reinforcement. Early into the fight, a Wookiee Thug charged forwards and bludgeoned with Spotter with his Forward Momentum and his angry thuglike brutality. He then cleaved into one of the Commando Droids taking it down with him. He died shortly after that, but his sacrifice was necessary to the success of the day."
"A pair of Commando Droids combined their forces to take down an Echani while the Rodian Assassin's that Karrde had hired whittled down on a Commando Droid Officer. Another Wookiee also died staring off into space. His sacrifice allowed the Echani to take down one of the Droid Officers next round. The other wookiee moved into the Central Hut and hid behind a wall while the Rodian's shot into the air hoping to scare the Commandos. Once the next phase entered combat, the lone remaining Wookiee charged in and killed another Commando while cleaving into a mouse. He then used Talon Karrde's Mobility to hide around a wall to avoid being blown to bits by the rest of the commandos for the next round. After being shot at by the Officer, a Rodian snuck around the wall and fired at that officer wounding it. Seeing a golden opportunity the lone remaining brave Wookiee charged the Officer that had just shot at him killing it and then cleaving into a commando droid standing by him. Nute then tried to run away but a 2nd Rodian gunned him down depriving the Separatists of another leader. After that, the Commando's attempted to chase down Talon Karrde with their Captain, but the Echani had been lurking and took out another Commando sealing the victory for the Rebellion and aligning with Ponda Baba.
Final Score 207-69.

I ran Talon, 3 Wookiee Thug, 2 Echani, 3 Rodian Assassins, 1 Rodian Scoundrel and a mouse. He ran 2 Commando Officers, 1 Captain, Nute, a mouse, and like 7 Commando Droids. Use Nute to bring in a spotter.

if he had the BX spotter allocated, why not put more in the squad? any one one with those droids should win!

Reinforcements allow you get around allocations just for those reinforcements or reserves. Not for the squad in general. But the loss of Nute is.... Unfortunate... Clearly exposure to the Naboo water city is required....

Victory for the confederacy!
So my squad consisted of: Jango Fett (V-set) Shada D'ukal 3 BX Snipers 3 BX Spotters Battle Droids and an R7 (the map was Korriban and it was a last minute addition... Whoops)
My opponent (Spryguy1981) ran a Klat Captain, Jon 'Dutch' Vander and a swarm of Fury Aces and Gold Squadron pilots.
So the first round I moved up in batches using intuition, and picked off the Gamorrean bodyguard which Spry had placed next to the Klat and Vander to buy them time to get to safety. Spry charged forward and picked off a couple battle droids, I dealt 30 more damage to a Gold Squadron pilot, who was finished off by Zenj Needle early next round.
Round 2 Spry used some Pinpoint attacks and brought two of 3 batches of BX down to 10 HP apiece. I picked off what I could and 2 snipers, 3 spotters survived until the next round through the use of bodyguard from Shada. I used Rune so that Jango could pick off a batch at range without fear of Evade, and to take gambit.
Round 3+ I retreated a bit where I could with intuition but Spry had plenty of charging attacks. After plenty of charges, some doubles from Jango (who has 70 HP remaining now), some fortunate rolls on BX Spotters attacking (I combined fire with everything left except Jango and ended up JUST getting an extremely important hit on one of the last Gold Squadron pilots) and finishing up our acts, it was down to Vander (still hidden), the Klat (advancing on me with speed 8) and a Fury pilot against Jango, and a spotter, Rune in the center (Vander had popped up far enough to hit him last round so he had 10 HP left). I won init, Jango based the Klat and combined fire to ice him. He took 30 from the Fury and Jon killed Rune. After that, I won the last init as well, Jango flamethrew the last pilot to death, and Jon fled the battle.
I lost two uniques (Shada and Rune) in the close battle, ultimately having 40 HP Jango and a 10 HP Spotter remaining. After the battle, I can think of a couple things I might have done differently that may have kept Rune out of harms way a bit longer, but in the moment I made the decision to make sure I had gambit just in case and position Rune so that my last Sniper wouldn’t get hit right away (he was killed early next round anyway) and unfortunately it bit me.
Nevertheless, at last I have won a victory for the Separatist war machine!

Good job commander, your new cyborgnetic upgrades have done you well. The loss of Rune will no doubt distress the wounded Nute but Shada was a mercenary and died for our cause. They will be remembered. Scour the tombs for Kyber crystals and return them to Munnilest. Strength and Honour

*Static--Hiss--crackle*
"Attention Colonel Comedian, this is Vander, we have secured the landing area for you. You are free to move into the tombs. It came at a high cost though. All of Gold Squadron valiantly died on the field of battle to secure your LZ. I managed to escape by the hair of my neck. We did defeat Separatist Leader Rune Haako and Mercenary for hire Shada Dukal. We could not bring Jango Fett in. May the Force be with you Colonel and our mission not be in vain."
Pego won 192-157 or something close
Defeated Uniques
Rebel: None Seps: Rune Haako, Shada Dukal
Last init roll goes in my favor we are an 8 and a 6 away from defeating Jango and winning the victory.

Roger that Vander, we begin landing sequence soon. I have the Avenger orbiting Korriban to intercept any incoming reinforcements - or outgoing escapees. Seps won't know what hit them, but Gold Squadron will be avenged.

Bad news from Korriban. The Black Sun stormed in at full strength and found little resistance. We noticed Droid forces being led by Wat Tambor were approaching from the desert, so we took up positions inside the tomb. There was a tense stand off as our stealth experts remained in hiding while the droid forces gathered in the doorway. Using tactics unknown to me, a single Commando Droid with an Energy Shield was able to defend the massive droids blocking the doorway. This lead to an impasse: they could not see us, and we dare not shoot at them, for fear of our shots reflecting back at us. We remained this way for a few minutes before an adventurous Jawa ran ou t and gunned down the Spotter in one shot. From then on, it was a frantic game of cat and mouse as the Separatists charged our position. Jawas went up in smoke before the mighty flamethrower of an Ultra Battle Droid. Their countrymen returned fire with Ion Blasts that could maul a starfighter. The Black Sun Vigos jumped into the action with valor, and yet, luck was not on our side. We could have put the droids to flight then and there, but numerous weapon malfunctions caused us to miss at point-blank range. Although the Jawas had demonstrated their impressive skill numerous times pre-battle (and I know for a fact they could have sniped Wat Tambor himself from across the canyon with their little Ion Guns), I counted on their skill too much. On at least two occasions, my men charged out into the open, where their very survival depended on using only the most basic accuracy against enemies that would fall like wheat to scythes against their firepower. And they missed. I repeat, they missed. I saw an expert at close-quarters fighting try and shoot a bulky LR-57 Combat Droid at point-black range, and he missed twice in a row. Of course, Separatist retaliation to these last efforts was brutal, and final. Our forces still could have easily triumphed, but we simply had no time. Separatist reinforcements were on the way. Reports indicate that the only remaining enemy combatant fled with several scientists (that we had no knowledge of) in tow. Wat Tambor himself quickly left the battle with his officers as we defeated their soldiers. The Bounty Hunter Dengar also appeared on the battle, and like the rest he was forced to flee before our final effort, but to no avail: he escaped. But I digress. We were able to secure the area in the aftermath of the battle, but we had lost the element of surprise, and any moment Separatist reinforcements would have surrounded the tomb. Xizor and I agreed to evacuate our forces before further combat ensued, we could not hold out against another assault. Technical Report: My squad: --Rebel Scum (Emphasis on 'Scum') - Campaign Round 3-- 30 Xizor 23 Nautolan Black Sun Vigo 20 Dug Black Sun Vigo 18 Falleen Black Sun Bodyguard 18 Twi'lek Black Sun Vigo 15 SpecForce Technician 39 Jawa Scavenger x3 10 Squib Trader 8 R7 Astromech Droid 12 Klatooinian Black Sun Thug x2 4 Mon Calamari Tech Specialist 3 Mouse Droid (200pts. 15 activations) Xizor brought in another Jawa Scavenger and Klat Thug mid-way through. Xizor was wounded in close-quarters combat with an infiltrator, but survived. Lafcadio's squad: --The Wrath of General Grievous, channeled through Lafcadio, and then subcontracted to Wat Tambor. V1-- 35 Wat Tambor 32 B3 Ultra Battle Droid 31 Dengar, Hired Killer 30 LR-57 Combat Droid 20 OOM-9 28 BX Commando Droid Infiltrator x2 10 Treadwell Droid 9 Battle Droid Officer 3 Mouse Droid (198pts. 10 activations) Lafcadio brought in a BX Spotter with Reinforcements. I almost killed Dengar, and missed perfectly good opportunities to kill Tambor and OOM-9, but Lafcadio lost no Uniques either. No Uniques lost. Lafcadio won 76-96. I think I probably could have pulled through if we hadn't run out of time , he only had a half-dead Dengar and an Infiltrator left to do his fighting, while I still had two Vigos, two thugs, Xizor and the bodyguard left. But it was an awesome game that really came down to the wire. Last note: I basically handed him 10 points of gambit because I was scared of the spotter. Next round I literally roasted it in one shot, and made the shield save.

Excellent work Commander Lafcadio! Korriban is ours! The Confederacy rises again against the tide of Rebellion. We will use the Kyber crystals to complete our weapon, and then... We will have... Peace...
