There have never been ( ) in the card name before and from a linguistics perspective it shouldn't count, but if if does from a rules perspective it is an unintended happy consequence. Today's spoiler: Quote:Odan-Urr Old Republic 4/45 Cost: 35
HP: 110 Def: 20 Atk: 11 Dmg: 20
Special Abilities Unique. Melee Attack; Double Attack
Force Powers Force 2. Force Renewal 1; Master of the Force 2
Dark Assault 2 [Force 2: If this character doesn't move this turn, he gets +4 Attack and +10 Damage on all his attacks this turn]
Lightsaber Defense [Force 1: When hit by an attack, this character takes no damage with a save of 11]
Odan-Urr's Battle Meditation [Force 2, replaces attacks: Allies and enemies with a Force power whose name contains Meditation immediately spend 1 Force point. For the rest of this round this character gains the following Force ability: If all characters are activated at the end of an enemy's turn, an Old Republic ally takes an immediate turn]
Odan-Urr found and studied an ancient Sith holocron without being corrupted by it. Odan-Urr's Battle Meditation grants an Old Republic ally an immediate turn - a bonus turn just like Pawn of the Dark Side. But it only happens if all characters are activated at the end of an enemy's turn. The only time that is true is if it is the end of the round (all characters are activated) and only if your opponent out-activates you (it's the end of an enemy's turn, not an ally's turn).

It's fine. It was added to help Bloomilk and no other repercussions were presented with the argument. I would have given it more consideration otherwise but still arrived at the same point

I could also see there being a new ability where an enemy within 6 squares that isn't in line of sight can make this character move adjacent. I think that would be fitting along with Oblivious.

Today's preview is the biggest beat stick we've seen in the set so far. === Quote:Warb Null Sith 10/45 Cost: 40
HP: 110 Def: 20 Att: 11 Dmg: 30
Special Abilities Unique. Melee Attack; Double Attack
Damage Reduction 10 [Whenever this character takes damage, reduce the damage dealt by 10. Attacks with lightsabers ignore this special ability.]
Distraction [Suppresses adjacent enemy commander effects]
Rolling Attacks [On his turn, each time this character defeats an adjacent enemy by making an attack, he can immediately move 2 squares and then make 1 attack against another adjacent enemy at +4 Attack without provoking an attack of opportunity]
Shii-Cho Style Mastery [+4 Attack, +4 Defense, and +4 to saves when 3 or more enemies are within 6 squares]
Force Powers Force 3
Lightsaber Deflect [Force 1: When hit by a nonmelee attack, this character takes no damage with a save of 11]

Niiiiiiiiiiice. Very nice. Excellent job on Shii-Cho Style Mastery, the +4 to saves is a good addition. He's gonna be the ultimate beatstick/swarm crusher combo.

I love distraction, I love no renewal, and i love base 30 damage.
but C'MON! rolling attacks! on warb null? the most unacrobatic individual in the existence of Star Wars? being killed for the sole reason that he couldn't keep up acrobatically with ulic?
other than that though I really like this piece! think distraction I'd a good way to represent aura of uneasiness.

I'm glad you recognized Distraction as Aura of Uneasiness. A new Force power didn't really fit. Shii-Cho Style Mastery and Rolling Attacks represent him successfully battling 4 Jedi at once. Without Shii-Cho and against a lightsaber he will fall very quickly. (As he did against Ulic. The WotC Ulic Qel-Droma would obliterate him in a 1-on-1 battle, as he should.) But you are correct - Warb was not athletic.
He has some pretty good staying power, but only against shooters. There's a good chance that a 120dmg melee beatstick will take him down in one activation.

I picture rolling attack is more of a slow murderous walking attack.

In testing, this guy was a tank with Vergere's Crab Armor and Damage Reduction. Makes it pretty tricky for anything without a lightsaber to hurt him, and I crushed a pretty good Talon/Boba/Morrigan build with him. Vergere/Caedus/Warb Null will see play I think, probably even at the highest level.

Caedus/Warb Null are dual tanks. Caedus very tough against Melee with Makashi/Illusion 2. Warb Null against shooters with DR10/Deflect (often with +4 Saves). I think it's debatable whether to give the VCA to Warb or Caedus. Either way one of them becomes a supertank.
There's another pair of dual tanks that Vset 11 opens up as well. (Where one of them is a better tank vs melee, the other vs shooters.) That preview is scheduled for SHNN tomorrow night.

Today's preview (and tomorrow's preview) will be revealed on SHNN tonight. At least one of them will be a name that hasn't been revealed yet. 10:00 PM Eastern Time (New York time), at this link: http://www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/talkCast.jsp?masterId=63807&cmd=tcBut for now I'm just going to re-post this one from a few days ago. No one commented on it: Quote:Odan-Urr Old Republic 4/45 Cost: 35

Odan-Urr found and studied an ancient Sith holocron without being corrupted by it. Along with Amanoa, this is a piece that gives an advantage for being out-activated. Here, the advantage is allowing an Old Republic ally to take two turns in the same round. If you aren't out-activated, Odan-Urr will take a normal turn, and in a fight he's no slouch himself.

Bastila Shan, Jedi Master Dread Master Leia Organa Solo, Jedi Knight Nomi Sunrider Bastila Shan Atris Yarael Poof Oppo Rancisis
Hits a handful of figs for a force point. Seems like more of a counter designed against V-Set Bastila, if I had to guess.
I like how it functions though. It gives lower act squads a little more power. Depending on the ally you grant a free turn, i could see this being really brutal.
I guess my biggest concern would be, that while this piece does remove a FP from Bastilla Shan, there is nothing preventing her from acting twice to regenerate that lost FP through this character. Though there are probably better allies to activate twice.

You get a Force point when you activate, not when you take a turn. You only activate once per round. But there are a few ways to take more than one turn: Pawn of the Dark Side, Aing-Tii Flow Walking, and now Odan-Urr's Battle Meditation. Force Renewal does not trigger on those extra turns.
