Weird. I see that a reply was made by Surf Rider but no reply there. Must have deleted it. *shrug*

@Surf: Weird glitch, I guess. I looked at this thread and it said you posted something @ 8pm Monday. I check this topic and there is no post or deleted post. Apparently, when you posted on your thread (at the time, above mine) it put your name in this thread as posting. You didn't post, but it said you did. Even if a post is deleted, it would say "reply deleted," but there is nothing. It even bumped the thread as I was the last post on the list but it listed you in the "latest activity" column. *shrug* Sorry about the confusion. You didn't do any thing and I shouldn't have even brought it up but was an odd occurrence.

markedman247 wrote:03.07.12 Added Tonnika Twins (temp pic) Green stuff for the hair? Nice. You've got a pretty good start on the bun weave (hey I'm a guy I'm not sure how to describe the hair details) and is that the hair/greenstuff on the back of the green one? Obviously still in the finishing stages and needing the usual final touch ups; a few pics with better full body views will help but I suck at pics so that's all you. You use Fine Arts paint; When I was still modeling I used to use Americana. Does Fine Arts hold up pretty well? I may try modeling again this summer if my hands looking steadier

The hair? I would accept Marge-staffarian or Beehive of Scum and Villainy.
They are more or less done. I will take better pictures of them. I had to do some touch ups to the boots.
As to the paints, I use numerous types. I don't know which is better but I do know FolkArts makes lousy Metallic paints.

Cassus would be better if his cloak would have sealed. It is still flexible. At this point, I can't redo it as it will peel the paint away. I will redo the photos as well as adding Ragnos to the mix as well. I need to find a way to do Vergere. That will be a challenge for me as well as Onimi and the small pieces.
But I appreciate the kind words. Makes me feel this little dalliance in art is worth it.

some ideas for you, and the rest of the Rebel Alliance -use a neutral background for the pictures, paper will do -if you smooth the green stuff with a wet finger, you won't leave finger prints -use flat paint, unless you want a shine on armor for example -leave the eyes alone if at all possible, it's to hard to get them right -paint slowly, be careful, use the right size brush,if you make an error, wipe it with a wet paper towel -sand the ends of light sabers, so they're more pointed hope that helps

can we possibly get more angels of the twins, and possibly a breakdown of how they were made? They look great, and would love a better look!

Basically, they are from the HeroClix Avengers set: Tremor (kneeling) and SHIELD Operative with green stuff hair. I like to call the hairdo the "Beehive of Scum and Villiany."

So, I will adjust that. Eyes are difficult. In my most recent minis, I used super heroes with masks so no choice in leaving the eyes. Lightsabers I just use the straight cut. I am still forgetting to color the rods after the gluing instead of before it.
