There are 7 characters with Ewok in their name in the squad builder (although one is a reprint), plus Wicket who has the special ability Ewok. I'm having a hard time imagining an Ewok with that much on their card though....

I'm having trouble reconciling these three:
-Name has been seen before but in different way
-This piece has it's factions name in its characters name.
-This name has been used 8 times
The faction has been spoiled (OR) and there are more than 8 characters with OR in their name. So, that must mean the rest of the name has been used 8 times. "Trooper" and "Veteran" have been eliminated, IIRK. "Soldier" has been used far more than 8 times, as have "Jedi", "Jedi Master", "Wookiee", "Captain", "Elite", "Pilot", "Guard", "Commando" and "Commander".
