Preview, piece #22 Muun Guard Colonel - Separatist 15 points 40 hit points 16 defence +7 attack 10 damage Opportunist +20 CE: Allies named Muun Guards gain Opportunist. Interesting. Any mention of the RM? This will really help the vset Dooku out. Cheap retaliation fire with a decent chance to hit. them with WHorm is a pretty good grouping, hoever i still think they could use some more bonus's for a 5pt peice (4pts with Poggle the Lesser) they are as good as they should be. Anything more is bad for the game.

Anything more is bad for the game. Not realy i mean i still do not see them getting enough support to be top tier. I mean look at the amount of support Stormtroopers have, or Rebel Troopers and they are not exactly Tearing up the MEta. See your definition of bad for the game and mine are different. Lets look at this piece: 10 hp 12 defense 6 attack 10 damage and no SPecial abillites. Not exactly thrilling. Even with the current boosts it can gain it will gain Twin attack, Momentum (When you end your move)and Opportunist so basically the strategies that you could have with them currently is to outactivate your opponent and most likely lose a lot of them while trying to attack a big piece at +14's for 30's. a Typical SWARM squad. And yes you can use sidious to pawn them, but you are killing that piece for 2 extra shots. there realy are not that many options out there for this squad as of yet, which was why i was saying that more boosts for this specific group could be nice.

Still, a boost is better than no boost. Living seps are still a long way off from being viable in competitive, but at least progress is being made rather than just ignoring them like what WotC did.

If you're playing them with Poggle, you also have Poggle Bombs, which are a natural counter to Lancers or Yobuck. Disruptive or Bastila might be a problem, though.

Tough match-up for sure, but not an auto-defeat. Bastila+Strafe/Gallop... that would be an auto-defeat.

This week's SHNN preview was Darth Wyyrlok (III) - apparently he's awesome, and he's been close to making every set so far but he keeps just missing out. Sithborg wasn't online so they didn't give the stats, but apparently he might chime in with them sometime.

excited for Wyyrlok the 3rd! I love that era...I wonder what his RM will be. I'm guessing Mas Ameda. I wonder if he will play nice with other One Sith or be a Rival with Lord Kryat

This version should play nice. A later version can have Rival. I'm hoping for cool synergy with Krayt. And might we finally see another piece with Booming Voice?

I don't think we'll ever see another booming voice... i think even Rob said that back in the day, though times do change (we got the ymosk, which is close enough, if not better). Anyhow, if we ever did see booming voice, i would hope it was on a higher priced, non-auto-include piece. If anyone deserves it, its the sith. They've been the underdogs forever now.

They said on SHNN that Mas Amedda is the Recommended Mini.
Do Sith need Booming Voice? I don't think it would help any of their key pieces too much. Revan's self swap is fine with just Mice. It might help a piece like Darth Krayt spread their CE, but I don't think it would be that helpful in a lot of builds.

Bandon, Nadd, Sid-O-Gram, Ghosty Exar. I'll take a Sith character with BV any day of the week.
